One thing I underestimated about Punk was how great and how much comedy was in his ability to take an ass whuppin. Shawn Michaels spent a career taking Tex Avery bumps out there, and shyt is what makes him one of my all time favorites.

Punk got the "make'em mad" persona, a good finisher, and crazy charisma. Like Shawn and Bret were putting on gold in a dead era following the steroid scandal, Punk is trying to find greatness in an era trying its damnedest to distance itself from Chris Benoit. It's overblown, cartoonish, and sometimes just laughable. That's exactly the era that followed the Hogan era, and that has to mean a repeat of the attitude era of some identity is on the horizon.

Heel Punk may not ignite that next movement, but he damn sure will help father that into fruition like HBK did the attitude era.

Yeah, he sells alot better now in this role. Punk plays the tough talk/chicken shyt heel very well. I like how he waves his hands in the air when he's being set up for the Shell Shock.

shield did not look weak last night, they were fighting in to the crowd and then went off camera, so that leaves it so that anything could have happened. smart stuff. loving what they are doing so far, the beatdowns are much more violent then the nexus ones were.

miz/punk was real good stuff, punk is obviously much better in this game but miz did his thing, i feel soon he will be one of the best, especially with getting experience with guys like punk on the mic.

this face turn could get him close back to where he was previously, the ppl seem to dig it.

punk really is on a whole other level at this point though, every week you never know what he will say or how far he will go.

Miz has potential but needs some refinement .
That crowd was live last night so it made the show even better .
