If Mercedes wants to do that Player-Coach role and bring Jade on until she's ready to put Jade over after the blowup, that could help her a lot.
Jade prolly need to work the style Mercedes been working her whole career, and will carry it better since she looks the part.

Signing Mercedes to help smooth out Jade's rougher edges and get her to work a more methodical style is a smart move. If that is why she was signed.
