Its wild of how this place can't just come to terms that people have opinions, and folks can troll as well. Hell we are all trolls in our god given way. But lately, this has been going on to the point of Reddit levels. This is supposed to be one of the few black spaces on the internet that has like-minded folks discussing wrestling from puro to Americana.

I just stated the obvious because out of all the threads concerning the wrestling business, AEW somehow ends up with this pissing contest.

You never see this shyt in the WWE threads, the TNA threads, and hell the Puro threads (because Puro is dead lmao), but still its like goddamn enough with this fighting shyt from both parties.

Go back through the thread. 90% of it is people having a good time just watching the show and cracking jokes, enjoying some of the matches and shytting on the ones that were bad or nonsensical.

Probably best that they don't force a title on a young guy. You saw how Tony completely fumble MJF title reign and nearly wasted Swerve's title reign.

A lot of it stems from that being the top title holder getting put in very weak programs and opponent that have very little expectations to win.

The end of it was fumbled because of Punk being fired (I'm guessing he was originally going to be The Devil before Jack Perry decided to be a jackass at their biggest event ever) and Cole shattering his ankle. But he had some good feuds with Starks and Danielson, and the 4-way match with Darby, Guevara, and Perry wasn't bad.

Going outside AEW, Lola challenged Roxy a few months ago after she lost her contract match a few months before that too. It’s a predetermined sport, guys. The real world doesn’t work in this entertainment field.

The whole "how is this person challenging for a title" trope in online circles is worthless because usually they are wrong. In the real world, boxing has rematches or dudes challenging for titles all the time who aren't the #1 contender. In UFC, Dana White just makes fights that he thinks will sell. Half the time there's not a logical explanation.

In the case that you just brought up with Statlander, she came close to winning the first match AND she's a former TBS Champion. Anyone asking why she'd receive a rematch is an idiot.

IWC are real sensitive. Especially, when Tony came to them as "Their" promotion. When it's just a way more wrestling focused WCW when it comes to booking and telling stories.

At this point, the only way to resolve anything to do with wrestling is stick with your territory, ala hold ya own nuts. Booking is odd in every promotion (hell, I wanted Chris Brookes to lose the belt last night, but what can ya do), but bottom line, the only way to have a peace of mind is just letting folks have it. It sucks discussions and jokes end in a hail of gunfire, but that's the IWC way from Reddit to TSC.

I would say what need to be said, but I said enough earlier that quite frankly was out of character and pent-up frustration due to the state of TSC in 2024 going into 2025.

Bottom line, criticism is not immune to any form of wrestling, as it is a reflection of art. Until wrestling fans from all forms except that each booker has their favorite, business 101, and this "war" is just a illusion in itself as most of the wrestlers are either fukking each other or buddy with one another off the camera roll from different promotions.

Until then, its just finger pointing, passive aggression, fake coy acting, blanket racism, and neckbeardom foolishness with all sides of the coin.

Here's one "issue" with TSC if you wanna call it an issue because we all know what time it is. The people who criticize AEW the most on here, the ones who try to post gotcha shyt from Twitter beards all day long, do not criticize WWE at all. You never saw them in the Vince threads about booking. You never saw them in the Vince threads about sexual abuse. You never see them in the Triple H threads when people are discussing how he very well might be a racist with his booking etc. because the "fed" can do no wrong

So when they come into AEW threads, it's based on nothing but stanning, it's not actual criticism

The people who criticize both companies do not receive any of this "blacklash" no pun or whatever u wanna call it Lmao
