I know why they did it, but that doesn't excuse laziness and making the belts look even more homogenized than before.
They might as well make the WWE Championship blue. Then it will be just like the Universal belt, right?

Vince really doesn't give a fukk as long as he think he can get a dollar out of making those replica belts. I know they market those belts for the kids but man I'm getting tired of looking at these uninspiring looking belts.

It's quite obvious when the shows share a championship with the same name, i.e. Tag Team, Women's, they want them to be similar with subtle differences.

I wouldn't use the word subtle for this. At all.
The WWE and World Tag Team Championships existed for several years with unique designs. There's no reason why they have to make the belts have the colors of the brand. And if they are, at least take the time to come up with something creative for the design.
The Universal Championship is literally the WWE Championship with a red strap attached to the plates. I'm not cutting these guys any slack.
