Yea maybe but even then, he never buckled or hurt GGG (vice versa too). My overall point stands, he damn sure wasn't treating GGG like he's treated his last 3 opponents because he was getting shyt thrown back at him that kept em on guard.

But ima fallback, not tryina shoehorn GGG into the fight thread :hubie:

Could have sworn GGG hurt Canelo bad in the rematch somewhere in the 10th rd. It was part of his late round rally which helped make it a FOTY candidate.

Nah that was Lampley being dramatic lol. GGG I believe landed one good shot & Canelo pretty much slipped every punch after with Lampley making phantom punch call landings

Nah he legit rocked Canelo breh. That nikka wobbled and leaned forward an everything. Canelo was definitely stunned by that shyt. It was like the cleanest power shot he took in both fights, because it was the rare one he couldn't roll with in time. That was the most I seen Canelo hurt since the Cotto fight back when he was much younger.

Canelo just played it off well and had the defensive awareness to evade most of the other punches.

Yup. That shyt certainly rocked canelo. But hurt "bad" is an overstatement. If he was hurt bad his reflexes wouldn't have been sharp enough to dodge all those punches after the fact. He let golovkin punch himself out then came right back landing bombs. Being hurt bad is like Sergio Martinez in the 12th round of the Chavez fight.

Pretty pathetic that none of his other opponents who have been bigger can't trade shots with him like a 35 year old ggg. Man give that man his flowers.

We'll definitely had to agree to disagree bro lol. I though GGG caught him & got his attention but Canelo still had the presence of mind (and legs) to not only slip everything after but to keep walking him down while landing some uppercuts or good shots of his own

Another Gold Medal
Every single guy outside of Mayweather becomes tentative and does not throw their normal output against Canelo ya nikkas make up every single excuse in the world, he is just that good. Huuuuuge otherworldly power puncher ggg turned into a jabbing point fighter against Canelo. A 6'3" fighter w a 7 inch reach advantage got his jab taken away from round 1 and walked down like a little nikka. :whew:

He retires tomm and he already got a hof career :wow:

And there's nothing you can do about it :umad:
