I think the thing that detracts from Canelo is that from the looks of him, he doesn't look like he's supposed to be special. However, when he's in a ring with gloves on, he moves around like a savant as he is very technical in his movements in regards to no wasted movement, can land any punch at will, deadly accurate and defense is the best in the world currently. You just stand there and get beat up for 12 rounds or as long as your chin can hold out for. That's basically it. It always reminds me of what Floyd would say when he fought people, it's different when it is you in the ring. On video, it looks easy. In real life? That is another story.
