Credit to Canelo for the victory, fighting a much bigger man who’s good. Commentary was very bias and were ignoring a lot of Smith’s work, had it closer than them and the judges but the right man won. Think was too many flaws in Smith’s game plan and Canelo was relentless, he had to have a near perfect fight to win this and he didn’t, though he did make the effort. He took some heavy shots in there, he was game but not enough to win the fight. Interested to see what Canelo’s next fights are, being a free agent now could just go and make more history anywhere he wants.
