I haven't played 15 or the MMOs, but 13 was decent if a bit too long, and 12 (which I'm currently replaying) is a GOAT game for the series far as I'm concerned.

13-2 is better than 13 but they went to the well one too many times with Lightning Returns. Dope gameplay which actually inspired 15's but story became a little too much, especially the ending. I really enjoyed 12 and plan to buy it but I don't think I'll be into the story any more than I was the first time. Only drawback to that game for me. 15 has good gameplay but the criticisms of the game going to shyt after a certain point is 100% facts.
