Gunther v Rico was fun and they did their thing. I hated that fukking Will Ospreay spot they've added into Ricochet's matches where he flips out of a predicament and they stare at each other after like it's an anime. There's a Championship at stake why would you stand there and wait for him to get back up so he can be shocked? Finish him off. That's a big problem with wrestling in this era there's zero sense of urgency when it comes to a lot of guys (and Ricochet is one of the worst culprits) guys don't actually look like they're trying to win. The rest of the show was whatever to me though I'm not going to lie.
As someone who hates spooky shyt in wrestling one thing I'll say is if you're going to do it that shyt has to go on last. Logically speaking supernatural characters should be main-eventers anyway because what's the point of having powers if you're still going to lose?
But beyond that it kills the whole pacing of the show like how does everyone just go back to normal afterwards without everyone looking stupid? There's a supernatural weirdo in a mask who's jumping and abducting people in the back and you expect us to just carry on as normal? Maybe I'm too black for wrestling but there's no way you're telling me to follow that I don't know what he left on that stage, that smoke that filled the arena where did that come from? You think I'm walking through that? You're crazy.
Story wise that was also a bigger progression than announcing Big Match John would be wrestling too especially because they already announced it well in advance that he'd be showing up. Just end the show with the maniacal laughter and Knight looking confused but putting that in the middle drags things down because what the fans should be processing as a shocking turn of events in a weeks long story gets brushed aside for flippy shyt 2 minutes later, makes no sense.
