when did you think Roman reigns was going to lose in the past year?

Roman ain't fighting mid carders all day. He could easily lose to a drew or another main eventer at any time. We know it won't happen, but it's not as transparent as aew.

The only Top guys he’s faced in his reign was Bryan, Edge and Brock

That's what I'm expecting. Crazed Dragon thinking he needs more submissions, stiffer strikes and quicker finishes :demonic: :picard:

I agree that Hangman winning at the 59:59 mark would've been a perfect finish but I think you are getting too ahead of yourself in that first paragraph. The crowd was going wild for Page to not tap at the 59 minute mark, when the hell has that happened on an obvious time limit draw? Not only that, they believed Page could win at the last second too. We'll see in the coming weeks if this draw hurt Hangman but so far we have the evidence of the complete opposite, he was loved and cheered like very few have in a setting like the one we just watched.

This didn't feel like Okada vs Shibata were the challenger was so fukking good it didn't feel believable he didn't win (and in that case, lost). And at the end of the day, the feeling that stays with the fans is the classic they witnessed.

This does make it obligatory for a rematch at Revolution with Page winning clean though. I guess Battle of the Belts it's an option too but after the draw on TV they kinda have to make people pay to see finish between them.

Interested in your thoughts once you watch it :feedme:

Watched the show this morning, and :whoo:.

First off, I think people are overreacting to the draw. It works for not just the match, but the overall character development and stories that they seem to be going for, but I'll get back to that.

At some point, we gotta have a conversation about how this argument of Zack Sabre or Bryan Danielson isn't even close. I like Sabre, but there are still long stretches of his matches where I know I'm just sitting there watching him do some shyt just to say he can do it. It's like the joint manipulation version of flippy shyt, but without the excitement. Danielson's shyt feels like almost everything serves a purpose, and most importantly has real character in it.

I also liked that it ran the 60 and didn't really start going heavy with the near falls until the back half of the match, and even then, the near falls were far more believable than most.

Reasons the draw worked for me:

It furthers Hangmayne's storyline that at minimum, he's Omega's true equal since they're the only two people that Danielson can't beat. Establishes him as better should he definitively beat him later.

It provides a way to establish that Danielson can be final boss level dangerous without eventually painting themselves into a corner on how to have someone beat him. He's shown twice that he's fallible. Also establishes that Hangmayne is legit outside of his matches with Omega, and doesn't put them into a situation where a challenger needs weapons grade plutonium to be believable, since he looked defeatable under the right conditions, but not weak.

Also, if they eventually pull the trigger on MJF being the one to take the title off of Hangmayne, this is TONS of material for him.

And besides, they can always go gimmick match for the rematch. They managed to not beat anyone, out with guys over, and not burn any booking possibilities. All around win for me. :yeshrug:
