TBF that was the dirtsheets saying that there was going to be a major title change. So much for that major title change they were planning.
This was a special not a PLE. I thought the show sucked and a bad look for a returning show, but it wasn't a PLE so Hunter won't get killed too much. This PLE formula has all these shows feeling the same outside of the big 4. A permutation of the same people and feuds in similar matches. Tag titles aren't big show relevant anymore. I'm at my ceiling of interest of this booking and presentation style.
With regards to what???
He really hasn't done anything with the WWE in a long time because he was doing stuff in Hollywood and working in politics. I remember him as a kid so it was good to hear his voice along with sympathizing with the bad guy.Saying he hasn’t been in wwe in 40 years and then the dusty ab line..I didn’t get that.
I know it was a special but it could've also been a b show like Backlash and have been indistinguishable. That's my point. This was a special not a PLE. I thought the show sucked and a bad look for a returning show, but it wasn't a PLE so Hunter won't get killed too much.
Jesse had a few appearances since he left WWE a long time ago, mainly being the special referee at a SummerSlam, but I think he could have meant he's back in more of a re-occurring role than ever before since he's going to be at every SNME going forward, at least by his words. He really hasn't done anything with the WWE in a long time because he was doing stuff in Hollywood and working in politics. As for Dusty, he was just talking sh1t because Cody's father was never in the greatest shape in his entire career. Don't overthink it.
I hope they at least have Jesse do some PLEs too in the process. For his first time back with being a commentator, he sounded better and more convincing then some of the other guys that the WWE have now.Jesse had a few appearances since he left WWE a long time ago, mainly being the special referee at a SummerSlam, but I think he could have meant he's back in more of a re-occurring role than ever before since he's going to be at every SNME going forward, at least by his words.
Like you said, "Don't overthink it."
I doubt it. Probably just the 4 SNME a year deal. There could be a chance he will be at the SummerSlam in Minnesota but that is in 2026.I hope they at least have Jesse do some PLEs too in the process.
