It's factual that he's more similar in personality to a Kevin Nash than a John Cena.
Drawing similarities is in no way stating that duds should be going out there nightly doing his best Big Daddy Cool impression, but it's certainly a building block and a starting point for getting him to effectively communicate with the audience and come off as authentic.
He's in his element when he's not reciting Cena-like promos and the fans are on his side when he's wild and reckless.
Again, drawing parallels isn't synonymous with wanting one to follow the same trail another man walked.
You simply use the foundation as a reference point and carefully craft your own path.
It's not nearly as theatrical or blasphemous as you're pretending it is.

This show was okay to good.

I can't say enough about how awesome New Day vs The Usos vs Lucha Dragons was.

Ryback vs Rusev was better than I thought it would be, but still bad. On a side note, it's hilarious how they use what's supposed to be menacing music to very lovey-dovey dialogue.

Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger was mediocre to okay.

The Wyatt family vs Team Ecw was awful, easily worst match of the night for me. All the ECW guys except maybe rhyno, looked old and washed up and pathetic. Strowman

Kevin Owens vs Dean Ambrose was good.

Charlotte vs Paige was bad. The match felt awkward, clunky and sloppy. I think they officially pulled a double turn between Paige & Charlotte with Charlotte going full heel and Paige now turning into a tweener.
They are portraying Becky as Sting level gullible. Becky doesn't want to lose a friend in Charlotte, but Becky is becoming aware of who she really is.

The Main event was good. There was plenty of hard hitting spots and you can see there was a lot of effort put in as Sheamus is welting and in some spots bleeding.

Roman Reigns snapping post-match was something his character needs right now. Triple H's selling of that first chair shot. The only problems I had with the post-match segment was Michael Cole trying to say you gotta feel for Triple H here, spinning the wrong narrative.
