This is where you guys set up Roman to fail, you guys want him to be like everybody else but himself. Vince thinks the same exact way and this is where you guys and Vince have in common and this is why Roman will never reach his fullest potential if people don't let him be himself. You're being over dramatic and need to take a deep breath.
It's factual that he's more similar in personality to a Kevin Nash than a John Cena.
Drawing similarities is in no way stating that duds should be going out there nightly doing his best Big Daddy Cool impression, but it's certainly a building block and a starting point for getting him to effectively communicate with the audience and come off as authentic.
He's in his element when he's not reciting Cena-like promos and the fans are on his side when he's wild and reckless.
Again, drawing parallels isn't synonymous with wanting one to follow the same trail another man walked.
You simply use the foundation as a reference point and carefully craft your own path.
It's not nearly as theatrical or blasphemous as you're pretending it is.
