He woulda stood no chance against Teo anyway. The lack of going to the body was atrocious and stamina shot out quickly after all that power punching that couldn’t seal the deal. Woulda been easy work for Teo

Props to Bob though for almost getting Verdejo one last payday. Verdejo had no business being in the running for a Teofimo fight.

The difference in that fight was the ability to recover. Nakatani kept getting hurt but he kept recovering almost instantly. Verdejo got hurt from the first right hand he took and never recovered. With better punch selection, Nakatani could've gotten him out of there two rounds earlier.

That and I feel like Felix thought he had it in the bag.

I think that's just naturally how he is.
