Yo!!! Hook was surprisely really good!

I thought this was gonna be some more of that Rey Mysterious the 3rd shyt.

But Hook was impressive and can actually go in the ring.

Definitely hope to see more from him

Also, at some posts in the Dynamite thread already shytting on HOOK before he even stepped foot in the ring. Y'all forget the Human Suplex Machine is his pops?

Yuta's good, but he's going nowhere until he can manage to look and feel less like a jobber.

Also, I get why TK books Rampage the way he does (put the biggest match first since Friday at 10 PM is such a shyt timeslot), but he can't just put blatant jobber matches in the main event. Hook's debut had more heat than this. Not that the show isn't good, it is. But still, give people a reason to watch the whole hour.

The match was to continue the feud between the factions. I'm wondering if KOR signs with AEW will we get an Undisputed Elite stable.

And if Hook's match was the ME it woulda had a jobber in the spot too.

Now that the Lucha Bros vs FTR feud is over and FTR are entering a program with Sting & Darby, I hope they are finally going to do the Luchas vs Santana & Ortiz program.
But if (for whatever reason) they decide not to take that option I think a Luchas vs Team Taz feud would be cool. Let Team Taz use the "Freebird Rule".

Nah, they talked about it on Dynamite shortly after Team Taz started. Think it was a promo with Cody Rhodes of all people who brought up training Hook.

Hook really impressed me. His moveset incorporated some judo, some amatuer wrestling, and some of Taz's moves. His nonchalant attitude before and after his match also reminded me of Raven. Hook was there to fight, not pander to the crowd.
If they can keep him on the more "serious" side of AEW, I can see Hook having some fantastic matches with Lee Moriarty, Daniel Garcia, Bald FTR, Christian, Bryan Danielson, Dante Martin, and the DMV's very own Lio Rush, lady and gentlemen.
Also, Hook & Powerhouse Hobbs (Ricky Starks can be a solo star again) could become one of AEW's best tag teams in a very short time.

Darby is a star in the making. I haven't seen one Darby match that ever made me question his push or status. He brings it every match, is charismatic and has a cool look. AEW has a lot of bright young stars.

Danielson needs to steal Hook for his future army of shooters Kid is good but Dragon will mold him into a killer. His dad will understand.

Hopefully the next challengers for the tag titles are fresh. No more FTR or Jurassic Express for now.

Best Friends always have a dope end of feud match, so I'm looking forward to that.
