did the fighter that dropped hitchins also fight paro too? :heh:
Hithcins is cool, I got nothing against the kid at all, nice jab, can fight backwards, pivot off the ropes etc. I don’t believe he can handle Paro however.

If we doing that previous fight shyt then you want to look at recent form? You, me, everyone knows that’s more relevant than discussing the semantics of an old fight where they both beat the same opponent. :heh:

Hitchins v Lemos. Wow, that was bad. Lemos moves like old me in the ring does these days.

Paro v Mattias. Outworked the toughest fighter at 140 (aside from him.) Boxed his head off.

Paro v Love just prior. Ended the career of a puncher by out punching the puncher.

But keep the discussion irrelevant regarding a years old fight about someone getting a different win from the other lol.

Oh for sure, it wouldn't be a boxing thread without some banter.

Fwiw Paro is susceptible to counters under fatigue, he loses form and neglects his defence when he hits the latter rounds. Usually I'd say this is where Hitchins might be a big chance, but it looks like Paro has had the camp of his career thus far. That's three really solid camps back to back post that ankle, hence why I'm bullish re his chances in this fight.

The familiarity of the venue can't be overstated either, these sorts of aspects in sport go largely unnoticed or understood most the time.

Paro got some pretty deceptive length on his left hand. He can throw it in a way where the shoulder/thoracic gets a lot of extension. Hitchins exceptional at moving backwards then throw a dummy shot in order to pre occupy the opponent so he can pivot from the ropes to the middle (not dissimilar to Haney). I believe Paro team will have spent a lot of time in camp timing the left down the pipe with the dummy shot from Hitchins. They’ll be looking to finish it early, Hitchins got a great engine and they won’t want to risk the latter part of the fight with a potential decision.

Could of sworn some of these dudes was signed to Top Rank

Nah, Paro got signed to Matchroom after beating Jarvis. The winner of this fight was set up to get signed, low key I believe Hearn was pissed at Paro getting it as Jarvis presents as a Garcia type, has marketability in that sense, even though he's fundamentally at sea.

Hitchins was one of Matchrooms early signings during their initial USA foray after DAZN was in full swing.

Hearn has now signed Kambosos to set up a potential Australian world title fight to take place domestically.

Australia has a domestic market as far as gate revenue goes, generally large attendances at all sporting events, particularly further south.

*as you can see from the knockout above, Paro been a dirty carrrrnt since forever lol.

Yeah I was thinking of some of the undercard fighters I remember the fight above and then Paro beating my hometown guy Montana Loves ass and I remember Hitchins on some of them early cards when I actually subscribed to DAZN.

Hitchins ‘you haven’t beaten anybody’.

Literally just beat the fighter he ducked.

I got a feeling Paro's team are going to use Lemo's gameplan against Hitchins, but I'm not sure if it will work

Paro mentioned in the face off that "Hitchins will have trouble with rehydration clause". Looks like Paro is going to bum rush him in the ring, to make Hitchins get rushed and make a mistake, then possibly stop him
