You obviously don't know about the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. First off Muslims arent to have intercourse unless the woman has hit puberty. The age of the Prophet pbuh wife is debatable, but what's not debatable is that she had reached puberty. Now just because you have a age in your head that makes you comfortable doesn't mean that's the same age everyone in the world has too. I think men with child brides in the middle east are a minority, just like child predators are a minority here, only difference is one loves and protects his wife, while the other abuses a young woman. You don't have to agree with them, but to pretend like your life style is superior just makes you ignorant.
So what if people who say they are Muslims practice marrying girls without their consent? When the rules of Islam are both man and woman have to consent to the marriage. They are not practicing what Islam teaches, so when you blame Islam you display ignorance. The day all Muslims follow Islam is the day everyone will want to be a follower of Islam.
