I won't write off Teo just yet, the guy that beat Loma handily is still there, needs to get rid of his father as a trainer and get it together though. Now we will see how he reacts to career adversity. Making 140 instead of 135 might help him too but I'd imagine he should rely even less on his power there.

He reacted by making a bunch of excuses and wining like a bytch. And by turning down a rematch.

Beats Loma and not once does he mention dude's shoulder issue. Now all a sudden he wants to blame this latest ass whopping on injuries.

FOH. Dude doesnt move like a champion. Guys like him dont come back stronger from shyt like this. Unless of course they start to use steroids.

Yeah that was pathetic, I was thinking more long term though, we'll see

Reading that article, anyone with a father, should get irked. It's beating a dead horse about his dad, but in theory at the very least he should be looking out for your finances. He's a young fighter with obviously no business moxy.

Who knows, maybe Teo splurges more than he let's on, but the fact you're a champion fighter, and you can't manage those millions ahead of time. I hope he was smart enough to have a pre-nup, move out of the tri state area in a friendlier tax state, and his dad was smart to set aside funds for a rainy day.

Just a lot of dumb all around in that corner. They're literally the only famous Central American, and they don't tap into that market for sponsorship money for God knows why. I'd be in every billboard from Guatemala down to Panama. But old man rather pretend to be like a Nuyorican.

You know George will be showered in Australia, and is getting mad love from the Greek community. You double that bag.

I rewatched it again, sober and fully 100 percent concentrating on the action ..Teo was getting out worked but he was still engaging and landing .
Both scored legit knockdowns and Teo was very forceful in the fight.
George is the clear winner but not the dominant as some may suggest, a great action packed fight that i would love to watch again very soon but i doubt so?
George had the greater energy in the fight, he seemed poised to win and demolish Teofimo.
Teo was a mess in stages, looked like a broken former champ into the late rounds but still found grit to throw and land on the Aussie.

If Teo was 70 percent in this fight i imagine him to beat up george in the rematch fully focussed and no bullshytting around.

lopez was the perfect foil for a guy like lomachenko. a big hard hitting counter puncher against a small light hitting volume puncher. theres other guys lopez can beat, but they need to play into his style perfectly, like lomachenko did. but there is one guy who is all wrong for teofimo lopez in every way, and his name is devin haney.

The problem is I don't think he will ever be 100% again at 135 which is why he had to move up. And I think it will take some time to recover from the mental issues from his life and the loss, along with him peaking vs Loma because he had the right team (Gomache and S&C).

I got a feeling Pops didn't want to spend that money anymore and thought he could do it all himself. And that ain't gonna change because Sr. Is delusional, and puts all the pressure on Teo to get shyt done without proper guidance.

He gotta drop his pops or at least change the pecking order if he's gonna do anything at 140. He ain't big anymore at that weight. He loses to Josh Taylor and Prograis definitively.

If Teo boxed with some common sense from the start instead of a Coke induced wanna be of Hagler/Hearns, he probably woulda got Kambosos out in 8-10 or earlier. Somewhat(not really)similar to how Thurman fought the Manny fight in the first round.

Great heart and desire from Kambosos wanting a taste of that championship history.. cant take anything away from that man.Really horrible gameplan from Teofimo’s corner. Teofimo Sr. makes Angel Garcia look like Derrick James.
lmao
once i saw him coming out like that i knew he was gonna lose
that's now how professionals fight. that was some amateur shyt and he was missing everything

he's dumb for promising a first round knockout in the first place
set himself up to fail from the first round, George knew he was coming.
