I think the Kofi thing woke Vince up somewhat to the potential benefit of black people investing in his product. I don't think he's less of a fossil or any more racially sensitive, I think it's more a 'Oh, they like Kofi? They gonna love this big motherfukker', because Vince's proclivities must win out, even over his latent racism. And Keith is a big dude who is clean cut, and if they make him something, then he can feed Keith to Roman or Seth when people turn on the former or keep hating the latter.
Or, they just feed him to Braun.
