11/20 ESPN+ PPV: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter (WBO Welterweight Title)

Yeah, they were but you know why. The thing to do for a certain contingent of Youtubers at the time was to shyt on HBO, and their fans followed suit. I think enough time has passed where everyone can actually see what HBO meant to boxing. Showtime is currently the best, but even they are vastly inferior to a HBO production. Now we're stuck with Mauro Ranallo and his forced rap lyric references. I'd rather have Mr. "Bang-bang-bang-bang-bang," calling the fight any day.

This fight would definitely have hit different if it was on hbo

Shawn was knocked down but it’s more to do with his poor footwork than him being legit hurt. He got dropped by Broner for Gods sake. One cut from a head-butt and even the “vicious body shots” from Crawford didn’t really have lasting impact.

Shawn was getting caught with lefts to the solar plexus on multiple occasions . At one point he got hit with it and completely shut down ..didn’t throw a punch ,didn’t move forward didn’t back up …just stood there bouncing trying to regroup..and this was after one of his better offensive surges ..it was completely wiped out and he stopped in his tracks


In the 7th he got hit with two lefts at the end of the round and started walking to his corner with 5 seconds left in the round

Those body shots completely wore him down …and those traps that Bud set ultimately led to the Knock out

That was a slow speed car crash that occurred over 3-4 rounds ..if ppl think they was just a round 10 thing they need to rewatch the fight and actually pay attention to what was Actually going on from round 7 on instead of falling in love with the wild flinging Porter was doing

Another thing, Crawford switching southpaw on Spence is only going to give Spence an even straighter path to put his jab in Crawford's face. I don't think a lot of you are seeing what I'm seeing when I'm evaluating that matchup.

Crawford is a good counter puncher, but Porter keeps his hands low and loops his punches a lot more. Spence has a tight high guard and he is a straight line puncher. He does not lunge in and leave himself open like Porter. He does not leave himself off balance with his footwork like Porter. If Crawford tries to fight this way against Spence he will be broken down. Crawford would have to fight a lot more aggressively than he is used to as far as his punch output to open Spence up, which will leave him open a lot more as well, not to mention I still have no reason to doubt Spence chin. Crawford is an accumulation puncher bruh, he aint making guys do the stanky leg after one punch like that.

There is a reason I'm telling you I'll bet a rack on the fight if it happens, I'm that confident Spence wins.

He wasnt done, I gave him the 8th round. Bud is a great fighter and scored clean shots but I can’t believe people could look at the end of that fight and think Porter was “done”. He had bounce, he had energy, and he’s a champion that deserved more respect from his corner. He was treated like a cab driver by his own pops. Doesn’t mean he was gonna win the fight but the stoppage was trash.
