I'm pretty sure you just described yourself

:salute: to you clearly not reading the sentences before that

Nah. I just described you and list of others who's pretending like y'all actually cared about the outcome of the match knowing damn well you marks didn't give a damn about the match from the moment it was announced. Y'all been hating this entire time.:mjlol:

this was a great SS. i enjoyed every match and that ending caught me by surprise:wow:

i have mixed feelings about the ending....it was crazy and had me hyped but i can see it making the roster look bad. plus what direction do you go from here with goldberg and brock? but the only thing that mattered was the shield is back brehs:blessed:

Stale or not, he wasn't being booked as unbeatable since breaking the streak for no reason. It was meant to give Reigns the rub and they fukked it all up just because they didn't heel Reigns up for the WM 31 match. Lazy complacent bi polar booking is how we got to this point. It's just funny to ANYONE that a guy who was gone for a decade just came back and decimated a guy they didn't let Cena or Reigns get decent offense on:laugh:

The part people overlook when they blame everything on booking is that the talent level in WWE is kinda lacking.

Not from a technical standpoint because guys like Owens, Rollins, Reigns etc. are good to great in-ring. But there's a lack of that larger-than-life star quality that guys like Lesnar, Goldberg, Rock, hell even a Batista possess. I don't see anyone on the roster with that kind of potential even if Martin Scorsese had the book tbh.

Booking isn't the be all and end all. Jericho came back taking L's left right and centre but knows how to get over. Now he's the most over guy on Raw. A boring guy like Cesaro could go 150-0 with all 150 being 5 star matches and he wouldn't be as over as Goldberg. The talent should be looking in the mirror. Bad booking isn't the only reason none of them are on that level with the stars of the past.

A genuinely great talent come like AJ comes in and immediately these younger guys like Owens, Rollins, etc looking kinda :ld: in the light despite AJ being 5'9 and pushing 40.

The Wrestling Observer shed some light on Shane McMahon's status. Dave Meltzer reported that while he was in pain backstage, he told everyone he was feeling fine, even though he got knocked out by Roman Reigns' spear.

The original plan was for Reigns to pin McMahon after countering the coast-to-coast dropkick with the spear. Both McMahon and Reigns were shaken up after the spot. McMahon was noticeably unconscious, which is why his shoulder remained up during the pin-fall. The referee realized he was hurt and called for help.

The part about Cesaro basically kills the entire point about booking, but I agree for the most part with everything else. You can do all the fancy moves you want, but he still have to have something and be able to convey that.

As far as it not being the be all end all thing. It's probably the biggest thing. He's had the rug pulled out from under him numerous times, with terrible and baffling decisions being made. The crowd loves him in matches as he practically wills them in no matter who he's facing. yet, creative doesn't know if he's supposed to be James Bond, or Jason Statham in the Transporter. If you get the proper booking to look like a bad-ass, the crowd will respond (and in Cesaro's case, respond more than they already do)

I think, given the right booking, Cesaro could be a main eventer. Absolutely. He'd fit right in with Owens, Rollins, Reigns, Ambrose, etc and put on quality matches and get cheered.

No amount of good booking. however, could make someone like Cesaro a star on the level of a Rock, Austin, Undertaker, Goldberg, Lesnar, etc. He doesn't have what it takes to be on that level. None of those guys do. So when push comes to shove and WWE wants to sell tickets and stir up mainstream interest, they wont be relying on guys like Cesaro.

So much truth in this post, 5* post nikka.

Like you said Lesnar, Goldberg, Rock, Batista; these are genuinely stars easy. Styles is a proper star and like you said he's short and pushing 40, yet when him and Cena are in a ring the crowd spend 10 minutes chanting their names. Jericho managed to get stupid idiot, "it" and a fukking list over as fukk. New Day have also managed to get random shyt over as fukk. These guys are stars.

I like Rollins/Owens/Reigns/Cesaro and many other dudes... but they're not stars. Not even close imo.

Gotcha, didn't realize that's exactly what you meant about mainstream/big star appeal, def agree with that. Just knowing who's on this roster, it's tough to put anybody other than AJ Styles as far as the people who are comparable. The WWE wants Reigns to be a guy like that, but I don't think that is his natural personality to do that. He looks like a star, but personality wise, it just isn't there.
