Not proving it though..hypothetically he can give him hell in all the dream scenarios...lol
Charlo struggled hard against Korobov, arguably Korobov should have won. Excuse me but I won't crucify Canelo for fighting a champ at 175 instead of someone who still has Korobov problems at 160.
Charlo (his brother too) is at his best when an opponent is willing to exchange with them, they can be calm during the storm, they exploit openings in exchanges viciously. However, their footwork and line of attack are very linear, overly rely on their straight punches and susceptible to counters and falling over. Canelo is not a mover like Andrade or BJS but Canelo would beat Charlo at his own game, Canelo has the better defense and technique, also more ring IQ, he would tear Charlo apart with counters.

I actually think Kovalev wins a decision here

A fight would have to be Mayweather vs Canelo level 1 sided for canelo to lose on the cards imo
The risk in this fight is canelo could be knocked out, otherwise it’s not that risky at all in terms of losing.
Unless it’s like 2-3 knockdowns for Kov AND a dominant performance in rounds with no knockdown I think canelo wins if it makes it to the cards

Wo knows what problems Canelo might have..hes fighting the worst 175 lb champ over Callum Smith, Billy Joe, Andrade, Charlo, etc. Lol. I guess Rocky Felding was a challenge...

It's not that bad, imo if someone would beat Canelo clearly there would be no decision controversy.
The fights many are complaining about were all close. Golovkin didn't beat him convincingly either, it could have been a draw so it was a draw. I'm not saying some judges don't favor Canelo but apart from some oulier scorecards (114-114 Floyd, 118-110 Golovkin, 117-111 Lara) there haven't been anything scandalous about the scoring of his fights.

Nobody beat him clear and convincingly but still lost. Only Mayweather beat him convincingly and while one judge was fukking up, he still beat Canelo.
Nobody since could beat Canelo convincingly, including the first Golovkin fight.
Canelo got very conceivable cards against both Jacobs and GGG 2 there wasn't any outlier there.

If Kovalev would win a. 116-112/117-111 kind of decision he would win on the cards too. He possibly has to do more to win on the cards than against some other fighters but it's not like he could only win by domination or KO.

Who the fukk cares...lol. He still crying about the Ward loss. Been knocked out too He's broken....career is ended if he faces the other 175 champs.
How does him losing (got his revenge for the last one) at 175 means Charlo a 160 pounder who arguably shoulda lost to Korobov already is a bigger challenge than Kovalev?
I fukk w the Charlos too but nah, Jermall is ain't no bigger challenge than Kovalev and he wouldn't beat Canelo, he's actually in a bad spot at 160 not only because of politically he is "on the wrong side" but also because the division is tough for him stylistically. He has the best chance for an impressive win against Golovkin or Derevyanchenko, they can't outbox him the way and Andrade or BJS would imo.

Kovalev is past his best but still he was recently fighting and beating better opponents than Charlo ever in 160, maybe except Korobov. Kovalev put on a clinic vs Alvarez on the rematch when he got back to his boxing and then he stopped a surprisingly sturdy Yarde. Charlo had one good opponent at 160 previously listed as quite a big underdog and he couldn't beat him convincingly at all. Kovalev is still way more accomplished at 175 than Charlo at 160 or to be honest anywhere.
The Charlos are very good and exciting fighters but I think their limitations and stylistic hardships are visible.

But Charlo didnt lose..its all in your head..because Canelo should have like 4 losses but he's in a corrupt system that hadn't been indicted on charges yet.

You can claim.he wouldnt beat Canelo..that's your fantasy. Styles make fights..until he beats this guy he avoided and HANDED HIS WBC TITLE too, gotta call fighting a sluggish Sergay a easier fight.

He didn't hand shyt to Charlo, the WBC instead of ordering Canelo vs Charlo gave Charlo a participation award and upgraded Canelo to a "franchise" status which they only invented to keep both Charlo/Haymon and Oscar/Canelo somewhat happy. This way they didn't have to bother with ordering the fight but Charlo can still claim he's some kind of a champion.

In reality every boxing fans who follows things know that's a BS title and that Canelo is the real 160 WBC champ, maybe except of you.

Oh and why "Charlo didn't lose" matters that much? He looked bad against Korobov, Kovalev was beating a better opponent (Alvarez) convincingly at 175 the same year.

That's a lie. Charlo was his mandatory and he refused to fight him. He gave the belt up in cowardly fashion in truth. Crawford would never hand his title up to a damn mandatory. Lol.

In reality? You mean racist fans? The rest of that shyt dont make a lick of sense. Damn near preposterous.
