I'm supposed to believe that Cody, the Undisputed WWE Champion, the face of WWE, the supposed Quarterback, is the "little engine that could"?

He certainly wrestles like it. There's nothing about him in the ring that screams "great champion," as Michael Cole just said. And him acting like the little engine that could is completely antithetical to his "quarterback" persona. The quarterback is the leader of the team but also is supposed to be a superstar on the field. I only see superstar status with him outside of the ring. I'm not even sure that's warranted.
