The only reason the fight wasn't official is cause Andrade refused to sign the papers. Wtf....Everything was good on charlo's end. Dude was about to make the biggest purse of his career by far but he pulled out over money ....the bottom line is Charlo and Andrade had an agreement in place and Andrade had a change of heart when the fight was 3 weeks away. You can dispute it all you want but that's a fact. Andrade blatantly ducked jermell Charlo. It's written in stone. good win for andrade- but charlo need to go ahead and make that fight with him. it's a good look for either one to get this victory. hearn already said he will let boo boo go to fox or pbc for it. get it together and make the fight.

at calling jermall the gary russell of the middleweight division. i get jermell being mad at andrade for pulling out of the fight years ago but man he done made plenty of paydays since then. andrade shoulda took the fight and lara one years ago but its stupid and pointless to harp on history when you got a chance to change it now. fight him now when it would be a good quality win.

i think stylistically andrade gives jermall trouble as a slick southpaw like korobov( i thought charlo lost that fight) but i think charlo got sharp stinging power and jab that could catch andrade lunging in or off balance. it would be a great fight to see- i'd hope they can somehow get it made, the fans win for that and it would be the biggest win for each guy. if jermall ain't going up for benavidez then fight andrade.

Dude pulled out of the Charlo fight cause he supposedly got offered 250k. Then his own promoter came out and said that was bullshyt and he actually got offered 500k

Then after the fight got canceled his dad came out and said they never wanted Charlo in the first place and they wanted somebody with a bigger name

It was obvious that the money excuse was some bullshyt. They didn't want Charlo from the start. There's a reason he been ducking big punchers his whole career. It's funny how the tables have turned on em though. The same guys they turned down cause they weren't big enough names are now turning him down for the same reason .....and people actually feel sorry for this clown.

They didn't want jermell then. And they don't really want jermall now. This is a last resort for him. He's found himself in a situation where he's now surrounded by knockout artists and he has no choice but to face one. Wouldn't be surprised if he priced himself out of that jermall fight. Yes and no.

He's only been at 160 for one year.

Won two belts at 154 (WBC and WBO) and seemed to have the right mix of weight/power for the division.

At 160 he still has exceptional hands on both sides and well balanced combinations.

He just doesn't have the genuine power he did at 154, so i can see why they are somewhat slower with it. 160 is a lights out at any moment and career over division.
