AD/Miro was dope and a taste of what's to come from the two. Surprised AD won, but Miro went out strong.

Those hardcore matches were fun as hell. Luchasauarus with the insane SSP and JDS doing a 'sault. Matt Jackson's elbow > Punk's.

Women's title match was very good. Tay had a breakout match and has way more potential than what we saw. Dat Conti cake. Britt did her thing too.

Punk/Kingston was great. Maybe a classic to the Punk vault imo. But definitely his best AEW match so far.

Jay Lethal surprised the hell outta me. Glad to see dude get his shine. Would like to see him get a new theme similar to the ROH one.

Hangmayne. Add another classic to the GOATmega. list.

Running these last 4 matches byke sober:

Britt Baker ain't it. Her matches are getting worst because they are drawing them out and she's smoke n mirrors. Imagine if Deeb was getting this kinda time/opportunity. Tay is good but she needs to be with someone better than her to truly flourish. Please put this belt on TR soon

Punk vs Kingston was a good scrap. Eddie got the crowd to boo Punk. Punk using mma strikes and 5 moves of doom to heel is on target for this audience. Fish vs Punk is still his best match in AEW.

Minn Street Fight was what it was. They are wasting JDS. Dude is legit, loves this shyt, and is somewhat decent already. He should have been pushed solo to see what kind of draw he could've been for them. Now he's just a regular guy... that has the longest win streak in UFC Heavyweight History. Get him away from these geeks.

It's okay to want someone to get their moment and a little run. Everyone doesn't need to hold the title for a year. It all depends on the character. I'm not the biggest Page fan, but I'm glad he got a proper ending to this story.

With Adam Page's current character, I personally believe people may get tired of him if he holds the title for too long. Sometimes dropping a title earlier can keep a character more interesting. People relate to Page's insecurities and struggle.

To me this was the 3rd straight good one they delievered since Revolution and that ring explosion botch

Yeah some of the endings of the match might have felt abrupt but I was fine with it.

I never said he should have a year reign…. I get that. But it feels like some folks want him to lose the title like as soon as next Dynamite.

Cuz for some reason….. I don’t see AEW as a company that’s gonna let a lot of guys get these 3x-12x title reigns. This may be it for him for awhile once he drops it

I'm sorry that Jay Lethal being a predator doesn't have a video or more concrete evidence for you, but ask yourself why he stayed in ROH for so long, and why AJ Lee omits him entirely from her biography.

You've already dismissed me about this before, I don't fukking like or trust the man because objectively I can't ignore common sense, go ahead and cape for his ass some more.

The link you posted is about her lawsuit against ROH and Sinclair for not paying her what she says she was supposed to be paid and the concussion policy being trash.

And here is the allegation she levied against Lethal:

On or about January 13, 2017, while Klein was in a hot tub near the pool of a hotel where the wrestlers were staying the night before an event, Shipman approached Klein and, while leering at her in a way that made Klein uncomfortable, started harassing her by asking her questions about whether her boyfriend was there, if she was staying in the hotel alone and how long she would be at the hotel. Shipman’s behavior made Klein very uncomfortable.

On or about January 25, 2017, Klein received an email from ROH management advising her and the other wrestlers that Shipman would be the new agent assigned to work with the female wrestlers. One day later, Klein responded to the e-mail and explained that she had witnessed and experienced several situations with Shipman that made her uncomfortable to work with him. She advised ROH management that she was not willing to work with Shipman and requested that another agent be assigned to her matches. Klein went on to explain that she had not expressed this sooner for fear of backlash or retaliation

In February of 2017, BJ Whitmer, another male wrestler signed to ROH, was informed by Shipman that Johnston informed Shipman that Klein had complained about him.

In July of 2018, Sinclair, by and through their human resources department, spoke with Klein regarding another female wrestler’s complaints regarding Shipman. Klein informed the department of her situation with Shipman in 2017 and was informed that no information had been received and no investigation was done. Klein also informed the department that Shipman knew she accused him of sexually harassing behavior

On or about March 7, 2019, Klein was informed by Adam Birch that someone in management did not want her to go to training because Shipman would be there

On or about September 30, 2019, Klein had a discussion with Lauren Sisselman, a ROH employee who arranges travel, regarding Klein traveling to the dojo in Baltimore to train. Lauren said Gilliand had told her that if Shipman was going to be there, that Klein could not be there and instructed her to wait to confirm Shipman’s presence before allowing Klein to come.

On or about November 7, 2019, Klein met with Koff to discuss fair pay and sexual harassment. A human resources employee from Sinclair Broadcasting, Caitlin, was also present. Plaintiff advised Koff that the salaries for the female talent were not comparable to that of the male talent. Further, Klein complained about the sexual harassment by Shipman. Koff said he thought it had been resolved. Plaintiff told him it had not, but Plaintiff had just stopped talking about it because nothing had ever been done. Plaintiff had brought this up to HR in 2018 and that management had revealed her name to Shipman/Jay Lethal, even though there was no formal investigation, which created a hostile work environment for her. Koff stated that there was no documentation for the 2018 claim and that HR was only for employees and she was not an employee. When Klein asked for policies, Koff informed her that her contract was her “handbook.”

Klein initially spoke put against ROH/Sinclair in 2019 but didn't add the Jay Lethal harassment part until about a year later after she had been let go by ROH.

This. Also consider the fact that AEW really hasn’t had a full babyface World Title reign in front of fans, Moxley was World Champ for less than two weeks before the Pandemic hit.

I was into having Page drop the belt to Miro by March if Miro won the tournament but since he didn't, I'm all for a lengthy Page face title run.
