After this PPV, they will have blown through pretty much all of their top matches.

I don't think so cause you can make new matches and bring in new stars. Jericho vs Cody, Jericho vs Darby Allin, Jericho vs Moxley, Jericho vs Dustin Rhodes, Jericho vs. Jimmy Havoc, Jericho vs Luchasarus, Jericho vs Scorpio Sky, and that's just for Jericho. They can elevate some of the existing talent and make the matches bigger and also bring in new people. There's matches there that it done right would find very interesting. They can find combinations with various talent and I'm sure will be looking to bring new faces in at some point too.

They had to start off with some big matches to get as much attention and awareness as possible, but there's still a lot of possibilities. It's all in the execution, storylines and booking.

No ones gonna pay to watch a PPV headlined by Jericho/Darby. :dead:

Please think before you type, sir. :mjlol:

I didn't say PPV headline, I said they still have new matches they can make. And you build stars, nobody would have paid for Rocky Mavia vs The Ringmaster but a lot of people ended up paying for the same 2 talents on numerous occasions after they were built to the required level. The ambition should be and needs to be to get some of their talent more over as big stars so people can pay for them. No-one would pay for Husky Harris vs Fergal Devitt, but you may get people to pay for The Fiend vs The Demon, even the match you mentioned with the proper build you could probably gain interest for that match, not to mention the undercard of matches is important. I didn't pay for Jericho vs Adam Page the last PPV, it was the event as a whole that made me pay.

You know there’s a difference between TOP matches and regular matches, right? :skip:

It’s gonna take time to build unknown talent, and even then we don’t know if they have IT. :usure:

Course it's going to take time, that's the point, while they are doing what they are now they can keep building up talent. They is a lot more work to be done but there is certain talent they have that is more over than they were before. The matches I mentioned clearly weren't saying they should all be PPV now, but they can be built into bigger matches down the line. Some of them they could build well now, Jericho vs Cody for the title could be a big match if built right, Cody's stock has risen from AEW. Also the belt will eventually get dropped to another wrestler so that's an opportunity for fresh matches too. It's all in how they play it, and how they build and tell the stories, if done well it can work.

This guy out here saying Luchasauras vs Jericho like its some big time matchup lol.

He just keeps typing out walls of texts and is making no sense.

These are comments from people that don't understand wrestling or the history of the business, or simple comprehension for that matter. If you don't understand what I said you have no business discussing wrestling like that because it's extremely simple. And I didn't say that at all, I said there are still new matches they can do and that they need to build their stars. Most wrestlers don't start off at the top, they have a roster who they have invested in, their job is to build them up so they become draws and attractions and can pair them with people that already are. If you can't understand something that simple I don't know what to say, but it's how the business has worked, Issac Yankem vs Mean Mark wouldn't be a big feud, Kane vs Taker was 1 of the best storylines and drew money and interest. We don't know what they will do with their roster, Luchasaurs actually is a good athlete for a man of his size, if they give him some kind of legit background story he has potential and then a feud you can sink your teeth into. At some point the newer stars are going to be elevated, Jericho is at the moment a placeholder, he can hold it down steady while the other stars are building, working with him will get attention for the storylines and promos, he will certainly pass the torch and elevate other wrestlers during his AEW run. Some of the guys I mentioned will probably end up being bigger stars for them down the line, not to mention new talent they will certainly bring it.
