IF THIS IS UR MAIN EVENT 4 MONTHS FROM NOW..WHY WOULD ANYONE GIVE A shyt ABOUT THESE 2 TILL THAN...ANYBODY FACING MOX IS GONA LOSE BY THIS BOOKING...WHY BE INVESTED IN THIS LMAO

This type of logic and booking hasn’t been a problem for 30+ years of Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania or the past 15+ years of G1 Climax to Wrestle Kingdom.

2 Company’s that book events like this 3-5 months apart:ohhh:

You jumping the shark breh:lolbron:

Royal rumble is literally 1 PPV between WM and they dont go its RR winner vs brock!!! Usually the winner picks who he wants weeks later

NJPW just had kenny boyfriend lose to briefcase thus burying winning the G1 in the future when u can lose it in a match

Na breh.....

Remember WWE used to have like PPVs EVERY month. RR be annually in Jan.

WM be like in April.

So a couple of times Elimination chamber be in March and some generic PPV like a “Bad Blood” or “Fastlane” be in February.

Also maybe in the the past a few times they stretched out the picks but that was only due to brand split in modern times. When Austin won the RR, he didn’t wait weeks to say he was challenging HBK. It was known immediately.

Also, literally last year when Drew won in Jan he LITERALLY said “I’m going after BROCK” (in April)

Also whatever happened this year in NJPW don’t negate how they typically been doing it for years.

thats what made the match interesting
the build up was way too long cause of Moxley's injury so they had go extreme to satisfy the hype
They blessed us with 48 minutes of fukkery :blessed:
Im sure the Omega/Mox 2 will be more technical

yeah, watching Kenny do some hardcore shyt was a nice treat, and I'm really excited to see if he can carry Mox to another great match, but this time in Kennys world

PPV was great for the most part. Only gripes being the Women's Match (Which I don't necessarily blame Shida for, but I'm feeling like Britt Baker, Abadon or one of the Latina's on the roster might be what's needed to breathe life back into the division)

I would've preferred Page & Kingston winning their respective matches, but for the overall story and where they seem to be going with it (The return of The Cleaner and a Page/Omega World Title Match), I'm not mad at the end results.

I'm only through FTR/Bucks and this has been so much better than the other big events this year from AEW in the age of 'rona. I watched the buy in because I've only watched maybe one and a half shows of Dynamite since March and their video packages are a million times better than putting the stories together than the actual weekly shows themselves.

Omega/Page: Very strong, one of the miracles AEW has been able to pull out is to make people give a shyt about Adam Page. And somehow this angle with him and Kenny still has juice after this long and can still go either way with either guy snapping and going heel and it will feel right. My feeling is it probably leads to Kenny winning the title, Page winning it off of him, and Kenny losing his shyt after. Pretty neat having Don Callis in for the call, but once I got to thinking about it, it's really the least they could fukking do for Impact after taking LAX/Lucha Bros/Brian Cage within a few months of each other.

OC/Short Jacked Guy: :mjlol: that OC went from feuding with Jericho to this random dude in the low card stable and not only that, but had more trouble putting him away than he did Jericho. Pretty fun little match, though.

Darby/Cody: Darby is nuts. I can not believe they let him take some of the bumps he takes. The hammerlock throw over the ropes and that dude easily, easily could have destroyed every part of his arm because he didn't even try to move it last second like you do in a normal hammerlock slam. He just straight up landed on his arm like that. And then in the promo video he's out there literally getting hit by a car :hhh:This is way late coming, Darby's push has been so start-stop, something like this should have happened 6 months ago. I think it would have been better for Darby, the story, the moment, and Cody's character to have a more triumphant finish instead of a roll up but it was pretty good. Based on the pre match package, I don't think it makes a lot of sense for Cody to bend the knee and hand over the belt :yeshrug: Taz is so much better at just being the pissed off dude talking shyt instead of the goof he's been for the past 20 years or so.

Nyla/Shida: Another disaster women's match to halt all the momentum of the show. It's getting hard not to start blaming Shida at this point as she's been the only constant in all these bad matches.

FTR/Young Bucks: I don't know that this could have lived up to the hype, and I don't think it was as good as Bucks vs Page/Omega (which has the advantage of being in a packed arena with a real crowd), but it was definitely much better than FTR vs Omega/Page. This was very good until the terrible finish that was so completely out of character, so much it literally went directly against FTR's own fukking catchphrase:stopitslime: That shyt was really just full blown :pacspit: you mother fukkers. Terrible, terrible finish. Which is such a shame because up to that it was bordering on great. Really enjoyed seeing which teams influenced each side, with the Bucks on their RNR Express (really probably more The Rockers but The Rockers were just a RNR rip off anyway) TLC teams, FTR with Arn/Tully/Steiners/Hart Foundation/weirdly Power and Glory :bryan:. The shout out to DIY :ohlawd: I also liked the character differences shown in their gear: Bucks with flashy Lakers inspired gear, FTR with 50s/60s style Packers gear.

With all due respect......

Said you only watched maybe 1 and a half of a show since March.:dwillhuh:

Its now November:gucci:

Short jacked dude been getting more of a push and higher profile since March to the point he is the second most popular member of his stable. Some would say the star

Some time in the last 6:ld: months Darby was injured

That didn't just apply to this year, their video packages for the PPVs were far more coherent than the build on the shows themselves last year and pre-rona shows, too. Mostly because the talking heads and additional promos flesh things out considerably more than what gets done on TV. It also doesn't just apply to AEW, WWE and TNA have long had way better video packages than the actual build on TV. It's great they have such a good production team (in fact it seems like they probably have a lot of the prime era TNA crew on board if I had to guess), either way.

Once upon a time there didn't used to be PPVs every month and companies would build story over the span of months leading into a big show.
So I assume that is what AEW will attempt to do with Moxley vs Omega

Cody is shameless with his HHH/Hogan tribute act :heh:

Tag match was fine, shyt was never going to live up to the hype anyway. It probably would have been better without doing the injury angle & just letting them go all out. FTR needs to figure out some spots of their own that aren't just running through a checklist of old tag moves though. The one thing they had (shatter machine) got dropped for no reason other than to replace it with Arn & Tully's finish.

I'm also good now on these Matt fukkery matches unless he can think of some new shyt to do in them.

I watched Bucks FTR again and it was awesome.

The story of Matt hurting his leg neutralizing the flips and Dax hurting his hand neutralizing his fist. All the old finishers of the teams that inspired them. The working was crisp the whole way through. The crowd was hot for the whole match and the big pop for the win.

I thought the finish was great. The team that's been shytting on flips for 5 years, that went to the flippiest company. Going for a flip because their manager wasn't there to stop them, and it costing them the match because they are heels.

I swear every YB match for 4 years has been "Matt is coming in with an injury and he aggressively wants to make sure you know he's selling". Guy clearly got deeply offended at being called a spot monkey for so many years. :mjlol:
