dudes were cut throat tonight. geez.

Max wasn't playin on the mic as well as CMpunk and Eddie

shyt even Red Velvet and Jade.

If you dvr’d, go back to when they was barking at each other after the match. If you noticed, there a part where Jade and the crowd react to something said. If you turn your tv up and listen, you Velvet scream something like “I made you you dumb bytch”

Jeez!!!!! Tonight everyone head shooting!!!!

Fun opener, Dragon really gonna take advantage of no house shows, no indy shows & Japan and gonna work every week on TV :wow:

We got him as "Infinito" next week on Dark too :banderas: @The Rainmaker

The Eddie/Punk confrontation was dope. Man I hope this feud lasts a little longer than just 2 weeks. No one better than Eddie to lit a fire under Punk.

It's an interesting decision. Do they book Dragon to put Miro over or do they book him to put Hangman over (in the eventual title match).

It does feel Miro should win so he can keep his character development. And him losing to Page for the AEW belt would mean him losing his shyt to gawd :heh:
Shid…Id have him take it off Hangman after a month or two :manny:

Smart money says they probably getting back to Omega vs BD for the belt though.

They need some other belt but has to be unique
I've been of the mind for a while that AEW needs to just copy the New Japan title mix:

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship >> AEW World Championship
IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship >> AEW United States Championship
Strong Openweight Championship >> TNT Championship
NEVER Openweight Championship >> FTW Championship
IWGP Tag Team Championship >> AEW World Tag Team Championship
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship >> AEW Junior Heavyweight Championship
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship >> AEW Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship >> AEW 6-Man Tag Team Championship
KOPW >> Dynamite Diamond Champion (champ for a year and then new tournament decides new year's champ)

It could of been your right but it’s already dead on the water
They could make the belt mean something really easy.

Just have Taz and Ricky acting up for a couple weeks straight "defending" the belt on TV and then bytching about how the FTW belt is more prestigious than any other belt in AEW but they don't get the respect they deserve which spurs Tony Khan to make a rare TV appearance and offer Team Taz the deal that the FTW belt can become a recognized AEW championship in a one night gauntlet match to determine the new champ if they have the balls to risk Ricky not winning the whole thing.
Then just do the match on Dynamite and have Ricky win the whole thing and become an officially recognized champ.
And to make it stand out have the FTW belt always be defended under No DQ rules.

They really found a guy to boo Punk for and expose his true a$$hole ways:wow:

It's impressive, but I have no idea how people can see Punk as the heel here.

Eddie loses an important match for the exact reasons that Danielson said were holding him back in general (he doesn't do the necessary prep work outside of the ring to ensure that he lasts inside of it), and he reacts by flipping out and stepping on Punk's promo time because of some perceived, imaginary slight coded into his smile. When Punk asks him to apologize for being a sore loser and interrupting him, he gives a half-assed apology and then launches into a tirade about issues they had that have nothing to do with the situation at hand because his ego is wounded. When Punk tells him (as Danielson did) that many of his issues are self-inflicted (which is actually borne out by looking at Eddie's character arc in AEW), he flips out again and goads Punk into attacking him.

I don't know about anyone else, but if one of my friends reacted to a loss the way Eddie did, I'd tell him to get a grip, control himself, and stop acting like a child. Mindblowing how people can see Punk as the bad guy because of his demeanor or whatever.

first of all, repped. :wow:

this does happen semi often in wrestling, where you see a situation like this and you're like

"how is he the bad guy here? :dahell:"

Yeah, and I'll have no problem with the booking if Punk does indeed turn heel here (I think it would be far too early to do that, though. He hasn't even been in the company for 3 months). But Eddie's acting like the world owes him something in storyline, and Punk being kind of a dikk about the situation doesn't change the fact that this is an issue totally of Eddie's own making.

Like, Eddie has a title match against Miro where he exploits his weakness, and when it doesn't work immediately, he doesn't go back to it (as Fuego del Sol and Sammy Guevara did). Instead, he tries to cheat, gets mad at Bryce Remsburg for doing his job and stopping him, loses, then blames Remsburg for losing?

Then Eddie has a critical match against Danielson where, beforehand, Danielson points out exactly what I said in my last post. He proceeds to put Danielson on the ropes several times, but can't capitalize due to his lack of conditioning (among other reasons), gets choked out, then takes out his frustrations by getting in Punk's face and trying to fight him? In storyline, Punk showed incredible restraint in not hitting him until the very end of that promo battle.

Like I said, if it goes the other way, I'm fine with it since the crowd loves Eddie and Punk is an all-time great heel. But I'm just not seeing it the way many others do right now.
