People look at me crazy when I say my living Grandfather , Grandfather was born a slave and I can still talk with someone who had talked to an actual slave. But this is even crazier

While he wasn't enslaved, I'm sure he was still treated like a second class citizen in his own country. Even Freedman didn't have the same rights as white men. Therefore reparations.Technically, if you go six generations back, the grandparents of our grandparents, virtually all of us will have some family member that was born when slavery was legal.
My 3rd great grandfather was born in the 1840’s and my grandmother and her sisters used to sit on his lap and play with his hair ( he had long hair like an Indian) but he came from a free black family from Ohio so wasn’t born enslaved.
