The smoke and mirrors needed for this match to not be abysmal has me curious to see how they'd pull that off in 2020:pachaha:

Sting got Undertaker type booking for almost a decade and great money from TNA. WWE would have had him lose to all of their stars first then rehab him ‘their way’ like Booker T. Who knows how that would’ve went. The difference between Sting and 99% of wrestlers (even the old ones) is that Sting was in his mid 20s when Wrestlemania started and he wasn’t even watching wrestling then, so he never cared about that so WWE had to do real business with him.
2011-2013 was his shot to go and instead of putting on a great match with Taker, he instead had to deal with a pilled up Jeff Hardy instead. :francis:

Just have them interact on screen.

It’s one of the last remaining OH shyt moments they can pull from the attitude era.

They really don’t need to wrestle one another to get that moment
Imagine them two in the ring face to face FINALLY

Then the lights go out one by one.......Have the lights come back on and have the fiend kill them both :whoo:
