Idk why people care about Amaro either way...I'm pretty indifferent to dude, I missed last night's game (DVR'ed it though) but so if I'm being honest Sudfeld has been more visible than Amaro to me. Not saying cut dude, just that I wouldn't be mad either way.

He dropped like 5 balls minimum in preseason games.

Had that 1 great return. He MIGHT make it as the returner.

If he was relying on just being a WR he would be cut.
Yeah saw the box score and he had a fumble last night. :sadbucks: As a undrafted FA cant afford that

He dropped a shyt load of passes his rookie year
71% of passes thrown to amaro went Complete.

47% of passes thrown to quincy last year went complete.

A 71% success rate is great, drops or not.

In comparison, marshall and decker were both around 60% last season.

Enunwa can get open more. When His hands comes through, he does more for the offense

You're right I thought it was poor his rookie year. Comparing him with Enunwa though, Enunwa is a better blocker, faster and gets open. If Enunwa can't figure out how to catch he'll be gone too.

Based on what? 22 catches on 46 targets for no TDs?

We pretending that enunwa didn't drop a ton of passes last season?
When his hands come through, he will do more for the offense.

In camp he was catching everything and it showed in the preseason.

Amaro has showed no improvement hands wise and actually got smaller. Smh

Jets Home

Looks pretty fast to me. Dude lost 20lbs for this season and is in much better shape than his rookie season.

And if utilized he can be a great red zone threat

New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick throws 5-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jace Amaro

Wk 6 Can't-Miss Play: Jace Amaro catches first career NFL touchdown

Letting him go would be a huge mistake to keep a guy like Kellen Davis or Sudfield.

He lost weight as a conscious choice to get faster. How is that a bad thing?

And again, 22 catches on 46 targets is horrible. Enunwa is everything you guys claim amaro was his rookie season.

Amaro had a decent rookie season on a horrible team. A 71% catch rate is fukking phenonemal.

He isnt as good a blocker as Enunwa either. Not even close.

I dont see how the Anderson kid doesnt make the 53. Finally a go route receiver that knows how to attack the football with his hands.
