Tell that to the folks whose businesses shuttered in under a year
I've often run into a lot of people in life who will work harder for someone else than they would for themselves. It's like that job gives them structure whereas being their own boss they lack the discipline to put structure into their own hustle. That's why a lot of people can't make that transition from employee to self employed or business owner.
I'll even give nikkas an experiment to do. Devote 1 hour everyday to whatever hustle you interested in. (meaning researching, asking experts, watching videos, etc...) If you can't do that for at least a month then this independent shyt aint for you then. That's really the best way I can put it. If an hour is too much, then there is no way you got the discipline to grind 24/7 on some do or die type shyt for your business.
And
as far as owning an asset compared to being one. I look at it like this
successful business owner>>>successful employee
I'm sure in some cases it might be the other way around but then it comes down to how you define success.
I rather make 70k a year running my own shyt and averaging 25 hours a wk of work than someone who works for someone else or a company making 100k a year but having to average 40 hrs a week.

you do not have to worry about workers being present or paying them.
your company does your w2's.
you have no operation cost.
or bills to pay to operate where your money comes from.
you can go to work on the bus for twenty four dollars a week.
you only have the responsibility of your grade and job description.
to keep your high profit margin.. all you have to do is stay employed.

take a page out of madskills's book.
he still works his same day job.
get publishing more than likely and was a recording artist.
plus ghost wrote and provided the rubrick to most credible skilled jiggy records.
so he ran a business, that after it ended its drawing cycle.
he never lost his ability to produce an income.

I posted this info in another thread, and i think its best to put it here as well
1. Think of what type of business you would want to make or create.
2. You could/can have an e-commerce website where you sell items. What you sell is entirely up to you, so i would suggest a lot of research before pulling the trigger. But you can never go broke with Health, Sex, and dating.
3. You could create a blog, forum, porn site, video site, mixtape downloading site, did i mention porn? The way you get paid on these types of sites is through ads and selling ad space. The more people that visit your website, the more advertisers will pay you for ads. MORE PEOPLE = MORE MONEY
4. Hybrid site. This is a business model where you do two things at once. So for example, you can create a blog about how you love Ferrari's and write about everything Ferrari related. From the cars, to the drivers of the racecars, to what the company is doing, to what new models the company is coming out with etc etc etc.
Your focus for the site would be Ferrari is what im saying, this is called your NICHE MARKET. So the way you would make money on you phantom FERRARI site is by selling advertisements or allowing advertisers to place ads on said site in exchange for money. BUT you can also sell items on your website that are related to ferraris. ferrari clothes, model cars, apparel, gadgets, and blah blah fukking blah.
The people who visit this site have the same obsession for the car as you do, so of course they wouldnt mind shelling out money for some of the items. Lets assume you get 100K visitors a month to your site, and out of that 100K, 1 percent buys a product for you.
thats 1,000 people buying a product on your ferrari website. say the average person spends just 20 bucks, thats $20,000 gross income on your site already earned for the month. keep in mind you still have a check coming from advertisers that should be pretty hefty if you pick the right network.
I have given you the keys to the kingdom. theres a lot of self proclaimed gurus makingmoney selling e-books about what i just told you.
now its up to you to use the info i just gave you and apply it if you choose, if not i wont lose any

I'm not going to get into a back and forth with some dead beat loser crying about his past glory days while making 700 posts a month on this site. MAYBE if you spent more time grinding instead of posting you would be in a better position.

What kind of situations do you find yourself in? What kind of social circles do you find yourself in? What kind of women do you date?
Nobody doubts what I have to say about making money because it's clear that I'm actually doing that. The same can't be said for some knucklehead claiming to be in urban realestate development on one end, but concerned with hustling eBooks on another. Really, breh?
Oh, and screenshots showing deposits from Amazon? Again, this is just an evolved version of those Google cheques from those "Aye n!gga, look how Google just broke me off $20k. Why don't you get you some? Peep my eBook, n!gga," ads from back in the MySpace era.
Post a car, a nice pad, you with a hot b!tch, dinner on a rooftop... golf photos, SOMETHING, ANYTHING real to show that you're not just blowing smoke up our asses. Financial success is usually followed by material gains. And no, I don't mean to say you have to be blowing all your cash on frivoles sh!t, but yeah, there's no way you're pulling in the kind of money you're talking about without having something nice on deck to show for it.

Breh I feel where you coming from. Me I dont like kissing ass and sucking dikk to get mine. I dont like doing interviews and having nikkas judge and question my capabilities. I dont like sending in resumes and having to wait on nikkas to call me back and say Im qualified for this job or that job, shyt just really isnt in me, now Im doing it in the meantime right now till I get my shyt together shyt is just a means to an end.
