might of been TOO aggressive in round one from the opening bell and showed his hand because Fury closed the 1st nicely.
I thought it was a great plan and it's not that he showed his hand too early, but I don't think him and Scott were ready to make an adjustment to the adjustment.

When Fury figured out that he was leading with the jab to set up the right, he started willingly taking the jab to avoid there right hand, do he could be in position to either counter or lean on him. At that point they should have either doubled up on the jab or used some feints to throw him off.

No adjustments to Fury's adjustment.

"Wilder left the ring quickly and was taken to University Medical Center as a precaution but said, “I did my best but it wasn’t good enough tonight. I’m not sure what happened. I know that in training, he did certain thing and I also knew that he didn’t come in at 277 pounds to be a ballet dancer. He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.”

Fury was ahead on all three scorecards — 95-91, 95-92, 94-92 — at the time of the stoppage.
He dumb first fight fury was 250ish .. 2nd 273

what’s 4 more pounds lmfao he used his size all 3 fights

It was a good plan for someone who isn't historically known for using their jab to set up anything.

He had to bulk. Fury’s plan on leaning and putting all his weight on you is exhausting even debilitating throughout a fight. He needed the extra weight to withstand it. The problem was, it seem like didn’t actually assimilate it into his body. When you gain that much weight, which is basically 30 pounds heavier than Wilder’s natural, you have be able to build stamina when carrying that weight. It’s tough to do in a short time, but Wilder had a long time to bulk then work on his stamina. Only bulking is useless. The only chance Wilder would have had in this fight was to have superior conditioning, and he didn’t. Fury actually had better stamina.
I had zero faith in his weight assimilating. Which is why I was so against it. I don't disagree with getting leaned on too much, being a problem. But considering how much energy I knew wilder would exert, due to his lack of skill, he will always need conditioning on his side to maintain being dangerous throughout the fight, so hopefully he can use it later, like any tough fight he's been in. Wilder was super tired SUPER EARLY and honestly I don't think it was due to excessive leaning by Fury. That played a part, don't get me wrong, but I don't think he could handle being 238,condition wise, in general. I honestly believe a slimmer Wilder could of faired alot better last night. I believe he'd had more energy, for a longer time. Wouldn't of guaranteed a win, but gave him a much greaterr chance at landing a fight ending bomb later on. Which he was sure to need.
