Wilder always has a chance. I mean, after the 3rd round, I thought it was over. He knocked that nikka down twice in one round. It's never over till it's over for Wilder.
After the first two fights I didn't think wilder had a chance in hell but he put up a good fight this time.

He's never been put in a position where he can't just rely on his right until he fought a real fighter.

It’s over for Wilder.

And no I’m not some fake ass fan.

He simply took too much damage in the fight. That whole “dying in the ring” shyt came back to bite him.

He will never be the same fighter after this. No sense in even fighting - he should just retire and be with his family.

He went down on his shield.
Wtf..hahahaha

yall sound like casuals calling Wilder a bum. He fought the best HW in some time.. he had him down twice. He's just not as good a boxer. But he got power and heart.
Really the only rounds Wilder definitively won were the rounds he managed to knock Fury down. Every other round was Fury giving a boxing lesson. All Wilder has is power.

Hopkins skills improved with age, it's not impossible.

Yall act like this was the same fight as the second fight, like fury didn't get knocked down twice trying to approach wilder like he did the second fight.

Wilder never had a chance at beating Fury, but he put up a much better fight than he did the last two fights. He definitely improved as a fighter and there's no reason to assume he can't improve further just because he lost to the best.

You can improve your skills but you can't improve what you lose naturally with age which is speed, stamina, etc. Wilder does not have the fundamentals down and it is why this fight was impossible for him. I'm nowhere near as powerful as Wilder or as accomplished but I used to fight like him my 3rd year...well not quite I have a strong ass jab but would keep them away with that and then land a big right but it DID NOT WORK against big ass bears who could eat my punches. You know what helped? COMBOS. Once I stopped relying on just my jab and then popping them with a cross and threw 3 or 4 punch combos it started making the big ass meat tank dudes think before coming in. They would have no problem eating a jab or two and slip a cross to get inside but when they was gonna eat a jab, cross, left hook, and a right upper cut it made them think even harder.

That's just punches...when you talk about controlling the ring, footwork, etc...he's just lowkey boxing ronda rousey...when they study your one trick and account for it, you have nothing to fall back. Notice how Fury was able to adapt but Wilder couldn't? All wilder has is a hammer so everything HAS TO BE A NAIL.

I don't know if it was the weight and/or the gameplan to be active early but Wilder being gassed basically after round 3 was ridiculous, you gotta have a better gas tank than that at the highest levels

He did gas early but that had a lot to do with Fury knocking the shyt out him :picard:

Dude along with Fury has a great chin, I love AJ but he’s weak around the whiskers as Fury says :pachaha:

44 bricks...acre shaker
Malik gave him a gameplan to win the fight, but Wilder reverted to his instincts win he got hurt.. Plus he put on too much weight, but then again he probably doesn't last that long without the extra weight.
take advice from a nikka u knocked out brehs .loll

Exactly
Which is why I'm puzzled why anyone thinks he needs to retire

This is boxrec current top 10
1. Fury
2. Usyk
3. Joshua
4. Wilder
5. Whyte
6. Parker
7. Hunter
8. Ruiz
9. Chisora
10. Pulev

Do y'all really think Wilder can't KO everyone in that 5-10 group?
I mean I'm not saying they're all easy fights but I think at worst he's even odds
For me
1. Fury
Gap
2. Wilder
3. Usyk
4. Whyte
5. Joshua
Same for 6-10.

No one in the HW division can beat Fury. Wilder is the best remaining. Usyk will struggle with Wilder power, athleticism, and length. Joshua could have maybe 4-5 years ago but he's looking like a shell of himself of late. He doesn't have the extreme confidence anymore. 4-5 years ago, Joshua was looking like a ATG candidate. Not no more.

AJ, usyk, maybe even another fight with ortiz could be a bad look if deontay is trying to do new things or mess with his weight. i also dont know how this comment impacts fury at all. fury is the best HW in the world regardless of what wilder is doing as far as im concerned.
Wilder might end up killing Joshua or Uysk. Lol. Get serious. They aren't Fury. U understand?

and yet he dominated lol...I agree he should have ended this fight much earlier than the 11th,he whiffed on alot of opportunities to end Wilder sooner...
Yup.

If Emanuel Stewart was there he would have been yelling at him to knock him out.

I can't believe no one in Wilder camp advised against bulking. I'm not even a prize fighter and i KNEW there was a high chance he'd pay for that very stupid move. Wilder, Fury 1 level stamina could of kept him energetic enough to win this fight (or at least remain dangerous throughout) . Despite the skill deficit. He gave himself NO chance, With that silly shyt.

I think this is the best time for Wilder v AJ to happen :manny: both those guys gotta be looking at how much earning time they got left at this point
