yall sound like casuals calling Wilder a bum. He fought the best HW in some time.. he had him down twice. He's just not as good a boxer. But he got power and heart.
I don't think Wilder is a bum but its flat out embarrassing as a pro he hasn't adjusted to the Fury clinch bullying at all

Wilder really came into this fight thinking that lunging body jab was gonna do something - when he doesn't even have the footwork to follow up that kind of shot on his own :francis: no uppercuts. no proactive approach to Fury's obvious gameplan of just coming right to him

Nobody but Fury can take his punch that’s the problem.

At 35 the oldest of the group he should retire after this especially since the bags decrease after this.

Wilder is seen as the person to be the closest to beating Fury who is the guy. Emanuel Steward the boxing legend told of him just before he died.

Wilder brought it and is the reason we got Fury to come to the US. Also why we got AJ to come here too.
Wilder got big fights with Uysk, Ruiz, Dillian Whyte, Joshua. Kids on here are a trip..lol.

Should Wilder have fought at a lower weight (eg 225) so he could've moved around faster, making it harder for Fury to lean on him?

Being lighter weight means a bigger fighter holding/leaning on you will just tire you out that much faster; it's a big reason why the first fight ended 4 rounds earlier than this one did. Fury just has the ability to eat punches and get up from knockdowns that 99.9% of human beings on earth would be rendered comatose from. At 35 years old there's no magical technical evolution or physical transformation either way that would be feasible for Wilder to make at this point in his career that would've made a real difference.

Fury just said Wilder was too heavy. Whoever had the idea for him to bulk up should be fired. Dude looked like Conor McGregor after the 1st couple of rounds. He couldn't even hide how tired he was.

He looked drunk the entire fight. He was fatigued and dizzy from all those punches. I don't know how he lasted 11 rounds.

Deontay Wilder took one big advantage he had. Yes he has a right hand. But he had underrated stamina when he was 215-225
When he's lighter, he's able to move better, and set up his right hand better
He's not the best defensive fighter, but when he was smaller he was able to maneuver out of the way of punches

It's not a coincidence the closest he's ever won in the trilogy was the 1st fight. He was LIGHTER and was able to set up the right hand better and knocked Fury out cold
Wilder would be out early at 210-215. Fury is a better skilled boxer. Just let it go.
