That Edwards/Lashley finish was :martin:, but I'm not sure what other route they could have gone given the situation.

Either Lashley comes back and DESTROYS him (if he wins his MMA match), or EC3 turns heel and destroys him, or this will be even more of a farce. I don't want the gawd E-LI-DRAKE rushed to the title too soon. Have to let him cook more and be truly over:blessed:.

@stro E-LI-DRAKE is already better than Anderson. He sonned himself, Galloway and whats-his-name, but it was true. He's top 5 over in the company with ZERO help, just charisma and skill. He just needs to tighten up and polish, and he can be TNA's first homegrown star in forever. They just have to not fukk it up.

Maybe that's true, but at the same time, being the first homegrown star in forever when TNA is lower in the ground than ever really doesn't mean much. There were some dudes breaking out as ECW was dying and it meant nothing for their careers or the company.

The big deal is if they push and promote a true homegeown star, it could move the needle finally. Should have been AJ:martin: If we're lucky, Corgan figures this out and TNA finally gains some traction. If E-LI-DRAKE can step it up, and they get someone good enough for him to play off of, it could draw. An Austin to his Rock, if you wheel.

The difference between that TNA doesn't even get 400K viewers a week and is on a 3rd tier network. WWF was on one of the biggest standard cable networks and still had millions of viewers and were able to draw 10-20K around the world for live shows depending on the card and hype even in their darkest times. No one in TNA is moving that needle. Matt Hardy ain't moving the needle. Lashley ain't moving the needle. Bram ain't moving the needle. Eli Drake ain't moving the needle.

I totally over-looked this.

So Eddie Edwards loses to a guy who went Chris Hero when he was released from the WWE, then beats Lashley????
