Guessing they are banking on winning a purse bid for Shawn Porter. They already filmed and uploaded a Shawn Porter interview on DAZN.
Show is starting early at 5 pm EST. I guess they are starting an hour early to avoid any overlap with the Conor vs Khabib PPV.
King Sor is fighting Saturday morning on Oct 6th, likely at 10 or 10:30 am.
This card starts at 5, will likely end at 10 pm.
The UFC PPV starts right after.
Then we got the WSBB with Naoya Inoue at 7 am the next morning.

They revised the start time on their schedule, it's back to 6 pm EST as they originally planned. Should still be done by 10 pm.

from what I read they might be in play for Porter
Porter's dad expressed after the Swift fight that Porter is a free agent now and iirc he said somebody already contacted them but not sure in the latter
I watched that interview Kenny Porter did with TBV, it was supposedly Top Rank. He said Eddie didn't reach out to him after Shawn beat Danny Garcia

I want TR to get Porter cause while I'm no stan, Crawford is my favorite boxer and I need him to get a hallmark win so everybody can stfu about him not fighting nobody even when it's clearly not his fault.
I wonder if he's going to do what GGG/Canelo is going to do and just bet on himself with one fight deals, and get as much as money as possible on different platforms

GGG is at the end of his career coming off 2 huge paydays though

But these guys are usually not exclusive nowadays
that's why I don't get the pessimistic voices about boxing's future. Yes there are 3 big US outlets now but neither of them are known to tie down fighters with exclusive deals and just in this year and the last we've seen more examples of dudes appearing elsewhere if it makes sense. I think the network thing only gonna be a problem with the biggest fights maybe. Of course a Showtime fighter probably still gonna prefer a Showtime fighter at first, ESPN fighter and ESPN fighter and so on... in-house matching won't just disappear but fights between fighters on different outlets can happen

honestly i think vargas, if he wins, will be next for porter over berto (a rematch that nobody wants to see) and ugas (a capable fighter but not known like vargas)

Not a fan of people talking over important shyt happening to fill dead air. Hopefully that doesn’t happen during the walk outs and fights tomorrow
