And this show was trash. Rock was a feel good moment but even that was tainted but corny Becky and her lame Connor act. The women match was trash. I usually troll and give y'all shyt for being invested in womens wrestling but they are legit bad. IDK if they work too much or not but they are slow as shyt in the ring now. They really got a champ like Rollins scrambling around like a coward. Ladder match was whatever. Eight man tag was rushed where you got former champs getting non tv intros. And of course the Brock squash and aftermath. So basically no one came out good and only thing that will be discussed is Rock, Fury, and Cain. Two thirds are with rival network. :manny:

Anyway, its back to gang.

I honestly don't even know what to make of that. I know its kayfabe and yada yada. But at least with Ronda she was a noob even tho everyone knew she would fukk any female up on that roster. I knew wrestling and MMA have a huge crossover but lets be real a lot of WWE audience especially now probably doesn't really know the backstory(I mean the initial reaction told everything) So when they investigate and see this

How do you realistically sell that. Not to mention Cain is brittle as fukk and has no charisma(I'm sure Rey will help him but still) If they were gonna go this route they should have gotten Cormier. He's more well known, can speak, and has also has the backstory( Brock ducked him in the UFC so DC is coming to his world)
How do you sell what?
He gave Lesnar that work in UFC and threw him off his game tonight with the surprise. That was also 8 years ago and Cain is noticeably flabbier now so it could believably go either way when they inevitably clash for the belt on Sunday.

DC and better yet Jon Jones would've been better choices but doubt their UFC contracts would allow that

This is forever going to be the hill I die on with Brock and how WWE uses him. For him to do what they claim he does (bring in casual viewers, add a "big fight" feel, give matches an air of legitimacy) he doesn't need a title. If he's bringing the benefits they say he is, he does it b/c he's Brock Lesnar. Him being a champ is immaterial.

And this feud, just like the Goldberg feud, doesn't need a championship attached to it. These two dudes have MMA beef. They have history. They have stakes already. Throwing a title in adds nothing and it actively stifles the main event scene. Now, everyone else on the roster is automatically shoved down to the midcard scene and there they will remain, no matter how hot a hand they become, because WWE got tunnel vision where Brock is concerned. And we know this is the case b/c it's exactly why the main event scene on RAW was such a disaster for so long.

If there's one person on the whole roster who doesn't need a title it's Brock. People who are gonna come to see him or tune in to see him are going to do it regardless. It makes zero sense to handicap your entire main event when you get the exact same benefits out of the guy whether he's champ or not. It's baffling to me.
