And I think if he fully retired, and could focus himself on his beloved women's division, maybe it could make improvements.
That and I think the desire to come back and put on some crazy standard of match is more likely to harm his QOL long-term than having a medical retirement and becoming the on-screen authority figure for AEW and keeping Tony entirely off-screen
