Ya in here talking kind of crazy Loma isnt easy work for any of these guys. He is very beatable at this weight/age but it aint gonna be easy for nobody.
Bro you can tell in Loma body language and even Bob Arum said he not sure Loma is ready for Haney. Haney too big and fast. dude Was a major favorite for this fight and those cards dont tell the story of what happened tonight.

They've been promoting Haney/Loma since the 2nd Kambosas fight. Its def happening next. I think Haney beats him as well but it aint gonna be easy.

Loma looked slightly washed. Gotta see if it was just rust, the opponent, some combination of the two in his next fight.

He has looked like this since the Teo fight tho. He is old/undersized for the division.

Even Teo said Loma should take 4 rounds to get Ortiz out. Definitely looked frustrated in some settings the movement when he went to southpaw and the fighting on the inside. Haney also has a better jab than Ortiz.

Disagree that he’s looked like this since the Teo fight. This clearly is not his best weight. I don’t think anyone argues that, but he beat the hell out of Nakatani. In fact, I think that’s the best he’s looked at this weight and that was after Teo. I watched that fight three times. Dude was on some vengeful spirit shyt that night. No one has beat down Nakatani like that :picard:. I also thought he looked pretty good against R.C. He looked pretty old tonight, but I need a bigger sample size to see what’s up definitively.

I got Shakur over Haney and might even have Tank. But one thing for sure is Haney for sure is not the fighter that gonna fight any fight other than the one he wants to fight. All that matrix bullshyt and loma thinking he can bait him (Haney) into making stupid mistakes is gonna end up with a post fight analysis with them asking if loma has ptsd from the war or maybe it’s his age. He outsmarts a lot of his opponents, but he didn’t do it tonight. Ortiz was not used to fighting 12 rounds so he got lucky his opponent didn’t have the same conditioning ..that’s it. Haney Smarter than this white boy by miles and Loma knows it. That’s why he always run away every time he hear Haney wanna fight.

Ehhh i agree he looked good against Nakatani but any version of Loma will look good against a guy w ehh footwork who doesnt move his head.

His footspeed and explosiveness have clearly gone down a few levels it is what it is tho father time gets everybody. I dont mind him as the dangerous vet in the weight class, I can see him beating these young boys if they aren't doing what they should in regards to training and discipline. I dont like how big Tank and Haney get inbetween fights you can pull that off until you cant and now you are paying for it in the ring.

That's what I said to myself...lomas foot speed isn't elite anymore.
