He should definitely be doing promos and angles as well as putting on great matches. You don't become a rounded wrestler without doing it all.

Otherwise he might as well be a mute on Dark.

There’s already billions of wrestlers in every company that have these promos and angles Mid to great but the moment the bell rings we start to tune them out or turn the channel. Let’s not even begin to discuss in certain threads niccas used to just start posting pictures of broads and talking about other shyt while said wrestlers are putting up stinkers.

Like we all know and knew @Bryan Danielson was great not because of a damn angle or promo….. but based off his work and accomplishments in the ring.

Once he built up like a nice library it was easier to get behind him as he evolved into something more.

Same thing with say early AJ Styles. While Jarrett, Sting, Abyss, etc was doing all that character shyt…. He was putting in work with classic matches.

no one remembers a promo or angle from year 1-3 AJ….. but everyone knows he was incredible

We're living through another golden run of his. It's brutal, it's technical, it's creative and completely disregards his own health. It's gonna be sad when he has to stop for some medical reason, but I'm glad the guy is free to go bonkers for now.
