C'mon now, with Wilders resume of facing bum after bum, and ducking another bum in Whyte just a couple of weeks ago  you want to say AJ running? After 20 fights, let me remind you Wilder was still knee deep fighting taxi drivers and janitors. . .while we selling out stadiums . .

Parker, Wilder and Fury getting it in 2018 :blessed:

It's a small country with one of the largest population densities in the world. The british will cheer anyone

Wilder is the only worthy fight right now, off course Hearn will protect his boy from dope tests :lolbron:

Tyson would treat AJ the same way he did Bruno . Are you going to discredit Frank now as well ? :laff:

AJ would get washed in 5 rounds or less... besides a washed Klitchko who already got beat by Fury who else has ya boy fought ?

These guys are practically the same size and Wilder isn't as reserved as Klitchko. It will be a slugfest
but we all know Eddy Hearn is out here protecting his cash cow so this fight won't happen

Lay off the pilsner mate :mjlol:

But Bruno was never the boxer AJ is. Just because they both look like body builders, that doesn't mean they're the same. Bruno didn't even have an amateur pedigree but AJ had a solid one. Two different boxers, mate.

AJ doesn't get enough credit for the huge steps and risks he has taken in his career thus far despite being a late bloomer even in the amateur ranks (he literally started boxing like 10 years ago) and his professional career. Tyson wasn't fighting the same type of opponents AJ is fighting in his 19th and 20th fights. And Wilder has fought almost 40 people and there's no highly ranked heavyweight fighter on the list.

Wilder doesn't have the tools to beat AJ. Even Cubans that are more skilled than Wilder would ever be couldn't beat the guy at the world championship and olympics. If you've followed Josh's career you'd know he has an uncanny way of pulling something out of nothing when he's in trouble. And he did that against Wlad. I don't even think Wilder will trouble him that much but if he does, Josh will rise to the occasion and beat that guy to a pulp.

You make some good points about Nostalgia, but Tyson did beat Spinks and Holmes, two Hall of Famers.

And maybe Ibeabuchi does beat Joshua. Who knows.

Remember that Ibeabuchi also had a decent amateur career and I may be mistaken but I think he beat Duncan Dokiwari who had a respectable pro career will not a great one at all.

Does a prime David Tua beat Anthony Joshua? I think that's the better question to ask. And seeing how Joshua is not as defensive-minded as fellow Countryman Lennox Lewis, maybe he gets knocked out. Or maybe he wins a decision.

Spinks was a light heavyweight boxer...not a proper heavyweight and Larry Holmes was past his prime and was already semi-retired for two years before he fought Tyson.

Honestly, a prime David Tua is no different from Dillian Whyte. And Josh beat him. You just have to look at who both Ike and Josh fought since Josh is in 20th fight and Ike got engulfed in the unfortunate incident after his 20th fight.

1). Josh has fought more fighters with better resumes than those Ike fought.
2). Josh has a better KO percentage and he won all his fights in style, save for the last one.
3). Josh already has two world titles.

Also, when you compare the amateur resumes of the both of them - it's like a comparison between night and day. You may point out the non-existent home-cooking at the 2012 Olympics in London but that doesn't negate the fact that he excelled at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku and he was robbed in the finals against Cammarelle - he won that fight.

But people said Lennox Lewis wasn't good defensively and he had a suspect chin throughout his career. How times/stories have changed after the man beat the best America has to offer. And he beat the both of them in style. :russ:

whose KO percentage wasnt that great?

ike by 20th fight took the zeroes of both tua and chris byrd..which are still better than any notable victories than takam has now

as far as KO percentage goes

Josh also took zeroes off Dillian Whyte, Charles Martin, and Dominic Breazeale. Charles Martin and Chris Byrd are very similar fighters.

Yeah....theyre both black Americans who box. That's where the "similarities" stop.:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

And Dillian Whyte being equal to David Tua is another example of the UKasuals running around spouting randomness:hhh:

1. Spinks beat legit HW Holmes and c00ney, who Foreman said was ibe if the hardest hitters he fought
2. Holmes was definitely passed his prime but Tyson was the only to KO him
3. Tua is a former Olympian with a pedigree better than Dillian. Horrible comparison
4. I dare say Oleg Maskaev has a better record than White
5. Lennox was a great champion who was ko'd twice by one punch. It is what it is
6. I think Joshua is damn good but not great. Not yet at least.

You are right, Frank is different, he actually fought outside the UK :lolbron:

but you are smoking your own belly lint if you think Tyson wouldn't box AJs head off.

Tyson wouldn't let a 41 year old Klitchko coming off a loss and some time off put him on the floor. Stop it.

The real issue here is Hearn, he's not going to risk his cash cow/dope tests at this stage in AJs career.
Actually smart to keep ducking Wilder till he's past his prime and then cash out on a unification fight
because if AJ wins ...who else is out there to draw numbers ? if he loses.... then yelp

As for the matchup itself ... AJ is technically sound sure but his stamina is shaky.Wilder has great stamina, length
and a deadly right. This won't be an easy cake walk on some journey man sh!t.

I know you want it to be that way...
