That was a side of the head/temple shot and there aren’t many creatures short of moose and hippos that stay vertical after that one

Maybe I’m in the minority but I felt like fury largely controlled the pace and landed more. Francis landed great shots but not enough to win , it was a close fight but there were only 3-4 rounds where I felt like Francis asserted himself enough to claim any ring generalship. Also, maybe I’m dumb but you gotta take the belt off the champ , I know they weren’t on the line but landing great shots and one early knockdown doesn’t account for getting outlander and out paced.

But Francis looked great and really suprised me. Unlike these other mma losers he really looked legit

Fury fought Wilder the way he did for a reason/made an adjustment after fight 1 and stopped fighting off of his Backfoot. He wasn't expecting Francis to concede and allow him to come forward though and paid for it
dearly . Main reason he switched up/started moving around, problem is he likely didn't train and was gassed by rd 5 (Francis was too).


Glad Fury got knocked off of his high horse though.
