Motherfukkers swore up and down boxers were in another ballpark conpared to MMA fighters, yet one of your GOATS got dropped and arguably beat by a MMA fighter making his pro boxing debut

Ill wait for all the excuses
:usure:
When did Fury reach GOAT status? He is constantly criticized for not fighting the top guys. He retired instead of giving Wladimir a rematch

I didn’t watch this fight, as I didn’t take it seriously, but I’m honestly not even surprised with the result.

It would be someone like Fury to have SD against a guy that’s never had a professional fight.

Fury performs at his best when he perceives the threat level of his opponent to be high.

If he doesn’t view his opponent as a threat, he most likely cuts corners in training and this is the outcome. Dude is just not one of those guys that can cut corners and dominate.

A Villa Straylight.
I think everyone on this board loves MMA ( I have a black belt in karate and do BJJ) or likes it at least but come on now man would you rather be a professional boxer or a professional mixed martial artist.

Unless you're a kickboxer in Europe like those dudes from Holland you're not making a dime. Hence why Rico Verhooven ain't coming to UFC. It's peanuts
Glory doesn't even have any damn money they on the verge of closing their doors during the pandemic. Rico's too old to try and make it MMA he could always go to One or PFL both pay better than UFC apparently.

Big ups to Francis, he just lined himself up for another huge bag, so win or lose he will be set for life after another fight or two.

Its Tyson's fault for not taking things seriously and looking sloppy in there, so no sympathy from me.

Everything about this is nuts to me. After the stipe and derrick lewis losses he was on his way out. Then he adapted and wins the crown. Gets into contract disputes and fukkery. The Ciryl Gane fight was his career on the line. UFC would have done their best to have burried him and remove leverage. He went into that fight with a torn MCL and won. Left UFC and people starting wondering if he fumbled the bag. We come to find he makes a great deal with PFL and now gives the heavyweight boxing champ of the world a life and death match. Unreal man:wow:
