O’Shaquie Foster and Eduardo ‘Rocky’ Hernandez are fit to fight.
The pair of newfound rivals both came in right at the 130-pound junior lightweight divisional limit for their DAZN headliner this Saturday from Poliforum Benito Juarez in Cancun. Foster will make the maiden defense of his WBC title, while Mexico City’s Hernandez attempts his first shot at a major title.
The terrific style matchup of boxer versus puncher has come with its share of chippy verbal exchanges throughout fight week, even with a language barrier. Every face-to-face has resulted in the two having to be separated. Hernandez has vowed to knock out Foster and keep the title in Mexico, while Foster insisted the title will return with him to the greater Houston area.

Foster (20-2, 11KOs) claimed the belt with a twelve-round, unanimous decision over unbeaten WBC featherweight titlist Rey Vargas in their vacant title fight this past February in San Antonio, Texas. The streaking titleholder has won his last eleven starts after he stumbled out to a 9-2 start along with troubles outside the ring before he turned around his life and career.
Hernandez (34-1, 31KOs) has knocked out each of his last six opponents. The heavy-handed 25-year-old from Mexico City has never gone past six rounds as he steps up in class for his bid to unseat the supremely skilled Foster.
Below are the weights for the rest of the DAZN undercard, which begins at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Eduardo ‘Sugar’ Nunez (24-1, 24KOs), Los Mochis, Mexico, 132.4 pounds vs. Oscar Escandon (27-6, 18KOs), Ibague, Colombia, 132.8 pounds—10 rounds, junior lightweight
Justis Huni (7-0, 4KOs), Brisbane, Australia, 237.2 pounds vs. Andrew Tabiti (20-1, 16KOs), Las Vegas via Chicago, 221.2 pounds—10 rounds, heavyweight

Javid Ramirez (10-0, 4KOs), Durango, Mexico, 160.6 pounds vs. Jose Rosas (4-2, 3KOs), Juarez, Mexico, 160.8 pounds—8 rounds, middleweight
