There is no other better first fight with DAZN other than that with Canelo deal and Jacobs with the belt.

Have Andrade vs Saunders as co main event.

Yea I feel like it's the perfect fight for cince de mayo. And it will bring dazn a shyt load of subscribers and a bigger bonus for canelo. Danny was already first in line if they couldn't make the little g fight. I think canelo really wants to fight danny cause if he beats him convincingly it'll be even more bragging rights over little g. Anything other than danny would be a disappointment.

I like Danny...he's solid and I had him beating GGG.

But unless he pumps a solid jab and smothers in the pocket (not really him though) he is going to get tagged by Canelo.

He is there to be hit. He's answered questions on his chin and he'll be the bigger guy but he's got holes Canelo will exploit.

Still a very competitive fight.

my thoughts:

• Machado was impressive and even that we didn't see much of him I see him continuing to improve with Roach
• I scored Jacobs vs Derevyanchenko to Derevyanchenko 114-113. Both 114-113 Jacobs and 115-112 Jacobs were good scores too, it could go either way.
• I had this score because I gave most of the last 4-5 rounds to Derevyanchenko I felt his activity, aggression and ring generalship in those rounds trumped Jacobs' occasional eye catching shots.
• I feel like Jacobs is the better fighter out of the two even though I scored it to Derevyanchenko, the reason for this is that Jacobs did better until inexplicably he stopped trying and he thought it's a good idea to transform into a 160 Broner, alibying on the ropes trusting to win rounds with 2-3 flashy shots per minutes while the opponent outworks him and commands the action.
• A good win for Jacobs and a nice performance from Derevyanchenko too, my thought on the 2 fighters haven't really changed. Jacobs is still one of the top 160ers but he is still flawed and lacks concentration throughout 12 rounds, he also couldn't reproduce the sharpness he had in the GGG fight. He will give him a hard task but if he fights this way against Canelo he won't cut it.
