Obvious post to write, but whatever:

The Dark Order is over, but John Silver is REALLY over given his (relative lack of a) push. Wonder if they'll ever do anything with that.

They should keep giving him screentime then, not PUSH him with wins over credible people and towards a title or something. He's a fun midcarder, but they made that mistake with Orange cassidy already.

Usually, I wouldn't like a finish like that, but:

1. The Elite has had something like this coming for MONTHS in storyline.

2. It builds toward the PPV and resolves any lingering Hangman/Dark Order tension.

3. This is about the only way I would accept the Dark Order beating the Elite given each group's push.

As long as they don't make a habit of doing finishes like this, I'm fine with it.

Orange Cassidy is far more over than Silver and/or the Dark Order, as in he's one of their top merch movers and ratings guys. Him getting a short TNT Title reign wouldn't be awful at all. Though I do agree with you in that he's become a little overexposed and lost a bit of his mystique, so to speak.

As for Silver, I don't think he should contend for either of the singles titles, but I wouldn't be mad at a short tag title run at all if he keeps getting more over with the crowd. It's not like he's a shytty wrestler or ONLY a meme guy (just mostly a meme guy).

When i first started watching AEW, he was one the ones that caught my attention because his gimmick was so hilarious to me. Was one of the few that I always checked for, but now I feel like I've seen all I needed to see from him.
