So have we figured out why the main event aired first? There was no better match on the card.

Randy and Drew was about as good as a safe pg-ish era HIAC match can be but it wasn’t main event worthy

Sasha and Bailey was better than that.

over a decent show mostly caried by the first two cell matches

I'm just going to believe they wanted the Roman vs. Jey match to be aired without it competing against the World Series and Sunday Night Football and that hour was the only option it could have aired before those games started. Since it's a Network special, people aren't obligated to stick with a whole show since they're not paying a PPV price for it so I figure they feel they might lose viewers throughout the show if they put it on last.
