Lipenets is a reminder for me to stop judging fighters

he fought a certain way before and they tried to change it

he was gonna be a problem once

Great fights tonight, I thought clayton won that fight. He was sharp but he did want to counter all night not lead but he landed the cleaner harder shots.

Hawkins was fighting too small and taking too many clean shots. His power just couldn't keep Matias off him, he kept walking through him. Reminded of trinidad a bit just relentless with the output.

I thought marrero should have been closer or even a draw or edge to marrero. But he didn't end it when he had the chance and left it to the judges.

never saw malik hawkins before but he looks like he needs to retire. he looks frail, half blind, and lets a killer walk right in with his hands down constantly

other 2 fights were solid

clayton is frustrating. lots of talent but too old to step on the gas now. MAYBE if he gets a star trainer he can maximize his career and become a decent contender, but i doubt it. he will probably never get beaten up, though. dude has what it takes to ruin a fighter's rhythm and make it awkward. lipinets is stuck right where he is. he is so lucky peterson was washed up. i think kickboxing did more harm than good to his boxing. his stance and lack of head movement are a problem.
