This was the best Dynamite they've put out so far.
Fenix has been the most consistent
dude I've seen for like 2-3 years straight now. Can't wait for his singles run. Shame Private Party both seemed to completely run out of gas in the last 4-5 minutes, but I'd say they've definitely been established as a team to watch going forward. Match was like a big scale PWG tag.
SCU vs Dark Order....not so much. The Dark Order gimmick/look/whatever just doesn't fit in at all with what AEW is doing and Evil Uno is just a sloppy fat fukk. SCU vs Lucha Bros next week should be
Kenny seems to have some of the juice back, he's not quite back to Big Match Kenny/Best Bout Machine, but he's closer than he's been since January and really probably since he won the IWGP title last summer.
The stuff with Cody/Jericho was lame. Cody hasn't done a single segment or promo with AEW where he doesn't reference WWE and it's getting pathetic. There's no need to EVER reference WWE other than to get a cheap pop from the smark audience, but the entire audience is that and they're there to see the AEW crew, pot shots just make AEW look second rate and it's really only Cody doing this consistently. Jericho on a weekly basis is just as lame and stale as he was in 2003-2005. Bringing 60 year old DDP to the fight
was Adam Page not there or something?
Bucks vs Best Friends was better than I would have thought but
at Nick Jackson's hairline. Can't believe that dude willingly took off his headband. He needs to get into contact with Trent's bandanna guy and make sure that never comes off again.
at JR being genuinely baffled at Orange Cassidy to the point of almost getting angry about it.
I was wondering if they were going to have 4 weeks in a row of bullshyt finishes in the main event, and instead of doing outside interference for a cheap win, they just didn't do a finish at all. That's some real WCW shyt. 4 shows, 4 shows in a row without a clean finish in the main event.
Overall this was the best show they've done but it still has issues. Mostly that they're not doing a good job building stuff and promoting for next week's show and instead are just focusing on the PPV (and even then it's 2 1/2 weeks away and the only guys with any focus are...The Elite). NXT is dominating them in this aspect where they're setting up and announcing multiple matches a week for the next show and two weeks later and usually one or two matches 3-4 weeks down the line. Meanwhile, AEW isn't even promoting matches they announced months ago. The tag finals is the only thing announced for next week, and the Bucks again got a higher billing match despite being no longer in the tournament. No follow up or even a single mention of Darby Allin. Jericho since TV started is a completely different character and has regressed to the early-mid 00s of corny comedy insults. His look and attitude doesn't match up at all with what he was doing on Double Or Nothing-All Out-BTE. It's like they just made "a little bit of the bubblay" his entire character because people made some memes on twitter about it and who gives a shyt if it isn't consistent with what they were doing before.
